OK, all caught up. My first game was Tapper's Mexican Standoff. My favorite is probably the original Spycraft, even though I was a mod and not a player. That game was really fun to moderate. I don't know what my favorite game to play was, I'd have to look over the old mod list.

As to why I was gone, I usually play at work, less so at home. I haven't played much lately and yesterday was a holiday so I forgot I was playing and when I remembered, I didn't have a ton of time to browse up to speed.


If I have to "pick" between Tattersail and Silencer I'm going to pick Silencer. I really like Tattersail after reading up on him. My recommendation is always to vote low posters early in the game. You should have voted me, but you didn't. Tattersail pointed out that I shouldn't be ignored. Kudos to him. I don't think voting Silencer for being a symp on Day 1 is a good idea, but it's a better idea than voting Tattersail.

In my read up the thing that stuck out to me the most was how much Tapper and Shinrei seem to be ganging up to bully people around. Right now, Tattersail is getting pushed a bit and it feels like Tapper and Shin are the main culprits.

And I really like how many new/old people we have here, but I don't know several people and I feel like it's all of the veterans that are dominating conversation. Don't forget about people just because they aren't being mentioned much.

But lynching a low poster for the reason of him being a low poster only gives a CF and no train info. If there is a better target, go for him.

Oh yeah, ment, I never explained that. My suspicion of Veng was based on my suspicion of you, which was based on evidence of scummy symping. Logically, my suspicion of Veng is less solid, since it's based off more suspicion. So voting Veng over you wouldn't make any sense. However, my suspicion of you has almost died, really... I might change my vote here in a minute.

Hrm, I'd say the best game I've ever played was in Lies of Locke Lamora, simply because it was a complete game and strategy, executed from start to finish. However, it's tainted in the sense that that was the game that caused Malaese to quit because he said I cheated.

I've had 4 really good games, I think.

Benses - fooled alt146 using our partnership
Lies of Locke Lamora - leader role with lousy power, but kept the troops in line and duped someone (Bubba or Baudin) into giving me the win
The Finders mini - I dunno how much more awesome it is to start the game where all 4 other people used their first action on you and you still managed to win
Rot3K: Chapter 3 - Recruited early by Gem and basically ran the entire game

I still think you get good info from the discussion, and the best lynch is the low-poster.

And hey, I'm just giving you my "top of my head" assessment after reading up. You and Shin stood out for bullying. You know you're my homie, Tapper. In fact, you have beaten me very soundly in the past because I think you and I have something special after the work we did tuning and then running Spycraft together. It makes it very hard for me to ever want to see you in a negative light.

Plus, I still feel bad for how I had you character offed in Kill Bill.

Thoughts on Tattersail: While he did overreact, i think that that is a logical reaction. Especially with a rabid tapper coming after you. I have seen game after game where tapper latches onto 1-2 statements you have made and goes for the throat. This isn't wrong, and hell, day 1 it's more than we usually have to go on, but I get an inno vibe atm from tattersail. If he turns up scum...i have some splainin to do!

On PB: i believe him. He isn't a lurker unless he is trying to prove a point. I believe him when he said it was bad timing. @PB I know Mental's statement was meta, but he was correct. If I had a kill he would be the first person I would use it on. In altless games it's something to be accounted for. And i wouldn't think twice about it. He must die. Always.

On Silencer: I can't see him fudging up the thread as a killer. Just don't see it. I can see him reading a Symp role and deciding he was going to cause chaos on thread and just diving in head first.

On Dibs: He is playing way to even keel atm. I don't like it. Usually by now he would have made at least 2-3 hard accusations or at least given 1 opionionated outrageous case. IGMEOY

On Grief: almost the same as dibs. pops in gives thoughts, but nothing opinionated. Also don't like it, though he is lessinclined to rock the boat than dibs so I put him a bit further down on my list.

On Tapper: Tapper is being tapper. He is talking alot and following conviction. in the next day or 2 he is going to say something wrong, it's going to be misinterpreted, we are going to waste a whole day analyzing it while the killers laugh, we'll lynch him, he'll come back inno and we will all face palm. I am getting inno vibes from him.

On Shin: I agree with with dibs here. Another person worth watching. but nothing concrete yet. He did seem to jump on Tappers reasoning a push a bit to enthusiastically. To use his words "just a ping on the scumdar"

Those are the main people that stood out to me. Liz is basically invisible and I would like to see more, Trull did get a bit defensive, so bears watching. Can't remember much of what ansible said though he did throw some opinions around. I like that from a newer player early on.

The fact I got this far and Just now remembered Venge was playing has me really worried about him. It's like the little kid in the corner looking like an angel with his hands behind his back and whistling softly to himself...you can't pin anything on him at the moment, but when the girls toilet explodes and there are shit covered little kids running around everywhere in terror...you'll wonder why you didn't do something sooner.

On The Dude. As always, the picture of innocence. and if you have even considered lynching him...well...you must be scum.

I don't get scum from tattersail and silencer seems the more likely to be scum. At worst he is RI, as a roled inno wouldn't really want to put themselves out there like he has.

Ha - i always think your scum. theres just soemthing about your arguments that are the complete oppositte to how i think i cant help but think your scum. Its uncanny really sadly i think out of 17 players there are quite a few who seem anonymous really or not really getting involved. there have been 13 votes, but veng, ment and a few others dont seem to be saying very much since coming back on. pb has made a bit f a case, but pushing for a low poster lynch when you were at the bottom for a long time seems kinda suicidal. theres been a fair few 'joke' votes that are still in play which are ocnfusing things, and only really tapper is pushing hard in one direction. there is also a lot of resistance to tats lynch and people declaring they find them inno, which in a normal game on day 1 seems kinda ridiculious. The only people who should know someone isnt scum is the scum, the rest of us should have doubts. no one has done anything to pi them, unless i missed something?

realistically silencers lynch will give us very little info other than he made a big song and dance and posted a lot so earned a symp vibe.
lynching tat will provide us with plenty of info on the train, notably tappers pushing and the resistance to the lynch from pb and most recently the dude.

my vote stays, if tat is inno it will still provide us with more info than silencers and ments train seems to be four joke votes as i havent seen even a hint of a case regarding it.

Another thing I don't like about Silencer. He left the thread with a joke vote on. Now, maybe he knew he will be back before lynch, but I believe he usually is gone around the time day times out. I might be wrong on this though, just seems odd to leave a joke vote on so late in the day. I think this, combined with his carefree spamathon is enough to gain my vote for day 1.

another thing to look at right now... who isn't on the silencer train. regardless of if he is a symp or not, the accusation has been thrown around by multiple people. I would be surprised if 1-2 of the scum AREN't on the train right at this moment when the voting could swing between silencer and tattersail. The scum more than likely don't know their symps. I doubt they would be on the train early on to eliminate one of their potential symps.

This is actually a really good point. If she is RI she has done her job and given us something to go on, if she is scum, then it gives us something to go on. I would be willing to consider a switch to tattersail. It just seems like a waste to me as I have serious doubts about he being scum. Also, if Tapper was scum why push so hard on day 1? he's a veteran. it doesn't make sense. It does if he is a symp, but not a killer.

Ahh the old scaremongery trick, that never works dude. In fact it just makes you look bad, if you cant get a lynch by providing evidence you use meta fear to convince people to swap over before they are labelled scum even if you suceed and the lynch cf is inno. I applaud you. Maybe reason will out and you will see sense. If silencer comes back inno will you push tat's lynch tomorrow or go for tapper, shin or me and say we didnt vote for the symp. Of course you will have no proof he was the symp, same as how you dont have any now and you are removing him before he has really interacted with anyone so if he is the symp (which is possible) his death will tell us nothing about the scum team. seriously, the evidence of his symping is his post count, and players like ment and grief used to dwarf that on day 1 in old altless games.

Sadly it doesnt mean i wont change if necessary as we should lynch everyday. Just dont preach that your now able to spot scum as they havent voted for silencer cause we both know thats a bullshit argument.
