I may have misunderstood your post HiddenOne. Are you defending yourself? Accusing me? Or joking?

He then makes one more spammy joke post and then disappears without another post for a while.

So, what struck me as incongruous was he takes an easily baited joke vote, changes it immediately, takes a brief accusation badly and then when the thread swung to something unrelated he 'gracefully' went <poof>.

Initially I thought it was like he had no time to read through or write a lot but his vote on HO was unfounded, I did not get it at all.

Tattersail seems to be trying a bit hard to deflect. I can definetely see the case for this being an over-reaction.

It was a joke vote and the game seems to be getting more serious, and I'll be back before the end of the day anyhow.

Tattersails reaction is unwarranted imo. Having said that, he's a new-ish player, and over-reacting doesn't necessarily mean scum.

Other suspicions: Shin makes a decent point about Trull, who also seems to over-react a bit. I wouldn't say it's quite as strong as the case for tattersail, but we'll see Trulls reaction.

It also has been bugging me that Silencer, who has been complaining recently about how easy it is for people to be lynched just on a random accusation with little to back it up or for no reason other than that someone dropped their name randomly, came onto the thread and started stirring things up the way he did. Joking yes, but he has complained about these kinds of jokes getting people lynched. Seems a bit strange to me.

looking atthe more serious play - not too impressed by pb disappearing, but i think hitting scum with a day 1 lynch last game was a rarity and generally theres a good reason for that amount of low posting. That said its an altless mini so day 1 low poster is fine by me as a last resort.

silencer - he posted a lot, but hes entertaining and generally quite a strong player so worth keeping around despite the pleasure i would get from lynching him when he is absent cause that would be funny as.

tat - i can see where the guys are cvoming from. a switch to cover your ass after like 3 votes makes me think you have something to hide, especially as a few of them were joke votes.

shin - you are leading a mini charge there along with tapper, but the second guessing and laying foundations of doubt about your day 1 case have me nervous. I dont like the foreshadowing in those posts, but your day 1 cases are crap but IGMEOY

@grief - silencer admitted himself he was making a lot of conenctions, and i think tapper commented on the possibility of a symp role for him, so it is something to look out for. Day 1 lynch though? it wouldnt tell us anything if he was the symp though as he has been talking to everyone and he would come back inno.

Woah, easy now. Just woke up, and had to catch up on 6 pages. Ridikulous.

First off, my vote for HiddenOne was a joke. lol why would I be suspicious of a post saying "No". And yes, I did react defensively because I had misunderstood the post (Which I later admitted to). My exit was less graceful -- it involved not knowing what the hell people were talking about in the nostalgia posts, and deciding to leave because at least 4 pages were filled with nonsense and I had other things to do than wonder what Silencer was rambling on about.

Now I'm going to see if TCG has arrived on the projected release date at my local bookstore (it never does, I'll probably only get it tomorrow but I better check).

What foreshadowing? I have full conviction behind my observations as far as they go. Maybe I've just had bad luck or something, but (frustratingly) I've yet to have a day 1 hunch turn out. That will never mean that I'll just turn my brain off on day one and leave it at that, especially since even bad hunches can create reactions and provide information later in the game.

i would of removed my joke vote on tattersail, but his panicing before makes me think again, i dont think any of the votes for ment were serious, and while people are looking at silencer most of it is because he is really a spammer not a silencer, but alot of us here are guilty of spam this game so i dont want to vote because of that....

i doubt that im going to be awake in time to change my vote once i hit the hay (which will be soonish) im going to leave it on tat unless i can think of a good enough reason to change it to someone else in the next half an hour

I thought all my posts explained things? clearly not, I see the value of keeping Silencer around if he was town, he can contribute a lot more, however if he is a symp then he will be a lot more dangerous, he is a good player like you suggest and this can only benefit scum, I don't think he would be a killer though as I think these will be either one of the lower posters OR someone willing to drive a lynch off of none cases. I am a town player, it would not help to vote me off, however if it helps town by clearing some muddy waters then I have no problem with being voted off. I guess no one wants to go day one but I do have my copy of TCG to help me get over it

I have 76 pages left of DoD but I cannot read that as I am in work. I can play this though as it "looks" like I am doing work.
