Looks interesting, hadn't heard a thing about it.

got me thinking though, since we've got cowboys and aliens here, we've nearly had an analogue of the cavemen vs astronauts arguments in planet of the apes. when are we going to get a pirates vs ninjas movie???

I recall reading the whole webcomic a few years back. When it was still up. Apparently it got pulled by the owners when the movie deal went ahead:

At the time I thought it was ... OK. I felt it was entertaining, but way too narrow in focus. Some comments have stated the story of the webcomic is very different to that of the movie (shock, horror!).

i think this film after looking at the trailer let me down. it would have been better if one of the cowboys didn't have a futuristic weapon. that they defeated the alines some other way. i was excited by the concept but let down with the execution. that being said i will watch it and then i can be a lot more opinionated.

You are asuming he is 1)human and 2)the same cowboy who dissapeared. given the mention of his lack of memories in the trailer I can think of several senarios (timecop, Starman, The Hidden, the terminator etc) beyond cowboy gets magic gun.

Is it just me that, whenever they see this thread come up, misreads it and thinks it's about George Michael's "Cowboys And Angels"?
