I was cool with the shot of him getting punched through a building (presumably by Zod) and indenting into the bank vault door in that Comic Con trailer.

The shot of his fist vibrating snow away before he takes off cracking it = Chills

I couldn't help but thinking that they really did nail the physical look of Superman this time out. It also helps that the movie doesn't revolve around a dastardly plot to create more real estate with crystals. Superman is meant to be doing things that even the X-men can't - fight back against the oncoming apocalypse or world-killing being.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Judging by the second trailer.... have they indeed found a way to make Superman not boring? Wow.

I've seen this reaction a few times now and it's like... what Superman stories have people been looking at that him getting into enormous fights and generally being a badass is new to them? He does this shit all the time in the comics and, I'm pretty sure, in the cartoons as well.
