granted, PB's pms are so numerous it's easy to lose his train of thought.

but i'm fairly sure at one point or another he realized that you were symping GL hard.

sure made it confusing to have you both get recruited on same night.....

Hey SIlencer, I was really going to go for Osseric but you had spent several posts offering GL up for a lynch, that I moved you from "possible recruit" to "unlikely." Sorry man, I know the whole distancing act but it looked like a false read to me.

Yeah, but someone HAD to bring up our dear leader. If you have everyone sitting around, not mentioning a single player, he will definitely get picked on for that. He was a low poster, I had talked about calling on low posters, his name would be conspicuous in its absence.

Unfortunately, I seem to have fitted it in so casually that it came off as an honest suggestion! My bad. XD

That being said, I'm not sure why you wanted to lynch an 'unlikely' recruit over a very likely NOT recruit with finder powers? :killingme:

Also, the above is what happens when you take instinctive player, put him on the same team as an analyst, and don't let them know each other, LOL.

Heres my deal. I read my role as a once per day , day-killer. Working for town. When I blew my wad 2 hours into day one, and later found out that I was in fact a complete and total moron for not knowing how to read, I left the game. I did so for 2 reasons -

first - on day one I made a fool of my self in thread, on purpose, trying to draw night actions (fail!, lol) After I found out that I had only voting power from that point on, I realized that I would be too dangerous to be recruited, of FMed, or anything, because I was an obvious lynch target, later in the game. So I removed myself, as I had no way to help town other than voting, and thats really weak, considering it was multi faction, and eventually I would be the last townie left anyway (this is my theory and I stand by it)

Second - I was pissed. So much so, that I nearly revealed on thread, who I was, and what I had done, and why. This would have resulted in my mod kill anyway, and I think it would have hurt towns chances moreso because they would linger on the idiocy of what I had done.

So I faded away to calm down, and didnt log back in. I dont like being a whiney ass, and I certainly dont like shooting a vig 2 hours into day one, making it look like I need help wiping my ass after I shit my pants. So embarassment as much as anger caused me to quit the game. Hopefully I didnt do more harm that way, and I hope you all understand. Ment, sorry if I hurt your set up, or lowered anyones opinion of me.

To be quite honest, I missed your vig because it was so early in the game. And it actually didn't bother me once I started playing. I know how much of a bitch a vig can be to hold onto, and that most of the time they go badly. Granted, thinking you have unlimited day kills makes your move a bit LESS sensible, in my opinion, as you can afford to wait and see a bit more.

But I really didn't think that your vig screwed us over at all, or that was it a total mistake. I just went on with the game and ignored that little fiasco, figuring that the user was out of shots anyway. XD

Well, in hindsight it would have been smart to get Osseric lynched off... but I just didn't see any 'worry' in lynching you either. You both looked like fair game. I liked both of you, though... Osseric for his honesty and you for your game knowledge =)

Yeah, lol. Though I missed quite a bit. Id didn't figure on an Avatar of Khaine being involved, though that was a contingency of course. And the Necron Lord could have been a LOT worse, lol. Still a powerhouse, but at least it wasn't a C'tan or a Monolith!

Still, it was a great game, and the theme went down really well, I thought. No-one seemed to be put off by it, which was great. :killingme:

Necron WOULD have become a c'tan, if he killed 5 people....

Yes, but that's better than starting off as one, isn't it? XD

Besides, five kills would have actually taken quite a bit, given the amount of BP's around, even some of the 'roleless' town had them! That's five nights, so by then if he has killed five people, it's pretty much game over anyway, lol.

Cheers Ment and Tapper, was a fun game. And congrats to Bubba and Alt on a well played game. My biggest regret was how tied up I was for the first half.

I had in my mind that I was screwed in terms of teammates for the last few days, but didn't realise quite how badly. That's twice I've been the lame duck now, at least last time I was recruited into the winning team (still owe Dude for making me the lame duck in that one).

I never would have picked PB as cult. It seemed every lynch he tried to drive was derailed.

My only gripe in terms of balance is that I think a cult passing on the recruiting ability twice is too much. It didn't come into play here, but it could have.

OK, I see that new post from ya, Ment.

Hey man, FANTASTIC game. Big mistake from me was not recognizing that GL wanted Osseric gone. I just was so damned sure Kalse wasn't a recruit I pushed it in the wrong direction. I wish Gavin had given us more direction. I'm also not sure why he tried to recruit Karat a second time... if he had ignored Karat, we may have had another recruit. I think they had a BP against my vig, but that would have been fine.

I'd say the balance was just fine. Bent REALLY screwed us badly by wasting his kill pointlessly and then disappearing to be modkilled.

Chaos winning seems so improbable because they basically did nothing all game other than survive and kill one guy! But hey, a win is a win, and they did fantastic.

No shame here, great game!

Well I didn't have as much time to play as I thought when I signed up so I was on a bit of a lowposting streak as you may have noticed. I figured after the day 1 and day 2 action there would be enough people out there who voted for me that kill wise at least you weren't going to be hitting any recruits.

On the Kalse lynch, I presumed that from Osseric Finder infomation you would have guessed Kalse was a recruit! I didn't want to come out an say I believed it as there was resistant to Kalse being lynched from non cult members, although I couldn't understand why, but I did try and out Osseric as the Finder - I was trying to hint to you it was true in case you didn't beleive it, and ensure that Osseric was killed that night and my flock survived. Half of it worked :killingme:

I was Guarded Night 2 on my first Karatallid recruit attempt so that didn't count. When I went to recruit night 3 the field was pretty wide open so I just went with him again. There's wasn't anything compelling either for or against him

Heh, the only thing about the whole game we guessed right was that Korv was the necron :killingme:

I think there was a lot of luck involved with us making it through to the win. Sorry about the low posting, but I was trying to pretend to be an american and I was trying my hardest not to get alt-guessed.

Great game Ment!
