Dibs, am I correct in assuming there is no dealer chip in play on day 1, seeing how it depends on the highest poker hand, which is determined at night?

I don't mind either. How late in the day are we allowed to make bets regarding lynches? If we are allowed to do it al L-1 then we should organise it that whoever hammers holds back long enough for everyone to place the obvious bet. We need to earn at least two chips a day to be able to put in a guard/heal and BP ourselves, I don't see that happening just from lynches. I understand this is a last man standing game, but I think it is in our best interests to work together, at least until the cheaters are discovered.

Popping in quickly and without re-reading the OP to find out if there's any clue there, but how do you intend to discover the cheaters? They will just keep their extra chips aside for night actions and instead keep a tally of 5 + their deducable gains/losses for the thread... I doubt any of them will bet 6 chips, for example.

The same way we would catch any other scum I would guess? I doubt anyone would go and reveal themselves outright by betting more than they should legitimately have. My thought is that the main advantage the cheaters seem to have is the extra chips. To be active in this game takes three chips per day (forgot playing poker in my first logic) that you can't get back, other than by betting, lynching, killing or winning the poker game. Lynching will likely only return a chip per day until late in the game, by which time people may already have exhausted their supply of chips. At that same time, the only people with chips remaining would be the cheaters, which would allow them to take control of the night actions and likely the game. The best way to avoid that situation is to ensure that everyone has a net positive chip flow and 'rigging' the betting is the best way to acheive that.

Working late is a lot easier when someone is considerate enough to get you a pizza and you can play loud music in the office, btw. Out in 15, and then the CL has almost started by the time I'm home.

I'm here, and have a general idea of what is going on. And by general, I mean "not much of one, and my head hurts to bad to really fucking care."

I bet I get less hungover as the day goes by. That's probably a safer bet.

Middle of the night here...stayed up to watch the Packer loss after avoiding internet all day. :)

Is now sleepy time.
