So, seem like the server is down. Does it need to be restarted or is the server down indefinitely? I remember CF saying the server will be running until mid Feb. Also, with that in mind, what is the status of the whole server hosting problem?

I have worked on it. My server guy is supposed ot have set us up with room on the server and access to it for control. Mayhap I'll talk to him today and see if we're ready to make the move. Don't give up hope. CF may be busy or away too, haven't seen him on here much lately.

Press F3 and it'll display the coordinates in the top left corner, if you head in the general direction of 0, 0 then you'll be heading back towards spawn - depending on which way you went you may or may not show up as being in new terrain in a render

I've tried the supposed F3 button. It does nothing.

Hes using a mac if I remember correctly. Try holding Fn and then pressing F3, should do the trick. Also, Messremb thats you? I left a welcoming cake, and since its only you better be damn sure I'll be taking it back.

Edit: Or if you are on windows, try toggling your F Lock if you have one.

Server is indeed still up, I've restarted it twice the in last couple of weeks, not sure why it had dropped out then - may have been a server hosting issue i.e. they restarted the VPS or something, dropping the server. I suspect it may be possible to configure an automatic restart but I don't know how off the top of my head.

Oh god,

I've gotten the twinge again. Caught myself doing the "just a few minutes" which turns into "just another hour" which turns into an entire evening sitting in front of minecraft, either building, digging, or flying around looking at everybody's awesome stuff.

I'm tempted to make everybody a mod at this point. Really, who cares right? It is pretty fun to be able to access creative mode and do something batshit insane and huge (away from the main areas of course). Everybody that still plays is normal and not a risk for griefing anyway.

Anybody not a mod that still plays and wants to be one? PM me and we can probably make it happen.

Head into the setting sun/moon and a little left and you'll rejoin the main continent - assuming you've not gone far in the last week or so from when I last checked.

If the update rolls out in the next hour I'll get the server updated, if it isn't updated by the time I get back from work (10pm GMT) then I'll do it then. Got to get myself a cat.

It would be hilarious to add fight mechanics for kittehs and doggehs.

Started construction of Castle CF Rail Terminal (thanks to Messremb for building the rail btw...looks good) I just blew up half my mountain with dynamite and am going to build a cool bridge over the gap.

My other project...after I decide just how to do it...is going to be an OBSTACLE COURSE. I am going to put it just to the northeast of Jart's forest castle on a cool mountain area with a big floating rock. It's not going to be the do-or-die type course...just a skill tester. If you fail at a jumping part there is no death, just a slower time. I think the best and most skill testing way is to make a big board where folks can do the course, self-time and post their high scores.

It will involve bridges, pistons, climbs, falls, and a bunch of other fun stuff, and be connected to the nether hub for easy access.

Any word on the new server HO?

I've got to mine resources then I shall add to my TOWER OF DOOM.

I would like to OP myself a bunch of resources and built a giant tower of 'trials' for you guys, but that would be cheating and not fun for anyone.

I'll admit I've taken to opping my recent creations. I've gotten all I need out of the adventure aspects. I really just like building shit and creative mode is the easiest way to go about it.

I just blew up a huge section of my mountain with a bunch of free TNT and it was super fun.
