I thought it was pretty funny walking through a landscape and seeing little blocky versions of forum members busily digging and being industrious on top of their hills!
I am easily amused, obviously.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

OK.

Fingers crossed this new server with 2 gigs of RAM can cope!

82.165.143.215 (possibly with :25565)

Should be up 24/7.

Is the second number a port thing?

Is there a certain syntax a logger-inner needs to use or do you just put ":" right after the IP address and then the port no.?

82.165.143.215:25565

^^like that. If you just type in any IP < #.#.#.# > with no port number given it'll use the default port number (which is 25565, anyways, but for some people it'll work one way and not the other)

There's no adding required :killingme:

I wish I could buy another copy and try to use the Username 'Herobrine' and then log in to our MP server and make strange rooms and monuments everywhere just to play a prank on all of you. But alas.

It may have been mentioned back there, but do I need to be running a linux OS to log into a linux-based minecraft server?

Nope - I can log in from Windows and Linux.

But I have found that the using Linux to log in seems to be more stable.

The top of my mountain is more or less complete, apart from the lack of bookshelves in the mansion. I'm pretty pleased. I even put a little memorial on the plaza to remember :killingme:

I have the hugest minecraft chubby after being on the malaz server.

Started laying out the rough 45 diameter circle that will be the base of moons spawn. Over a lake

I also plundered the dephs of a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally deep cave under the skelly spawner and came back with phat lootz. Coal deposits are RICH in multiplayer
