ESGunslinger is my username if you want to add me to the server.

Haven't been playing much lately. Blasphemy, I know. For some reason the game crashes constantly on my laptop and I can only play it on my old computer.
uhm, that should be 'stuff.' My stiff is never nihilistic.

Wow you've been a busy bee, D'rek.

Interesting set up. You seeem to be building a lot out of the open where as most of my settlement is situated inside a hill. Different building philosophies I guess.

Different starting worlds, too, my island doesn't have any big hills to build into! But I do like building outside so there's more to see of the place from afar.

I like the first one better.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

I can't tell if GP is pulling our leg or if there's some subtle difference I can't see.

EDIT: Oh, now I see it, I like the bottom one better. But really, that is a tiny gate house. Like always I'd go bigger in every regard.

Also a design tip. If you're laying paths on grass with half stones you should dig down one level, this will give the impression of high grass.

Yeah, I know what you mean, though it's not that small - here it is in perspective:

(you can also see where I've laid out the base of my wall, which will continue on the other side of the lake. I think I'll stick close-ish to the shore though - I think my summer house will end up being outside the wall.)

I am a caveman apparently. - I would like to join the server when its up. I vote NO to unlimited resources, if I may be permitted to speak on this matter.
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Don't know if I'm going to be able to join in, which is a shame.

Anyway...LINES ARE NOW CLOSED - ANY VOTES MADE AFTER THIS POINT WILL NOT BE COUNTED.

The results are in and the winner is...

New vote - monster spawns or not (if we can or it's added)?

I don't mind either way - it might be fun with ;)

I'm away on business for a week, but I'll surely pay the Malazan server a visit upon my return. Username is Kanubis 8)

I would have voted no had I posted in time!

Um, just a little question, because I don't know any of you that well. Speaking hypothetically, say you built a mighty fortress of some construct of beuty and artistic vision. Then one day you log in and suddenly the nearby moutain has mysteriously spouted a penis of breathtaking proportions, majesting pointing to the sky. And say, hypothetically again, that glass blocks and snow blocks had been used to simulate cascading ropes of man product from said penis on to your structure.

Would this perceived as

A) hilarious, if somewhat immature japes.

or

;) Good cause for a banning from the server.

Did I mention that this was an utterly hypothetical question?

Incidently, I do actually enjoy building non-offensive strcutures as well.

Yes to monster spawns...I'll try to login later. Will we be able to play this world anytime or only when Jim is online?

My user name is: HiddenOne

@Kanubis "cascading ropes of man product " You should be forced to have that as your tagline under your avatar. Yeeccchh.

I think that would invite open warfare, if it were my mountain on the receiving end of Jizz Mountain's effluescence.

I say no to monster spawns since as far as I recall, they cannot be killed by anything other than fire. There's no damage in MP.

Well, I've just settled beneath a waterfall. I've also started my giant tree project, which is going very well indeed. It's on top of my mountain and is awesome.

Just wait until I finish my TNT canon, Morgoth,

Anyway, lets discuss monsters in MP again after the Halloween update.

So here you can see the base of my wall:

Does that look acceptable? The two towers next to each other on the lake's far shore will be where the road to my summer house passes through.

I will amend my vote to NO if they can't be killed. Won't that be fixed in the Survival version? I keep forgetting we're not there yet.
