Just checked out the missing chunks. They are strange. Not missing entirely since I can't fall down the hole in creative mode. Just kind of float down softly until I hit where the ground should be and then glitch a bunch.

I also say most likely corrupted chunks because somebody was right next to them when the host went down.

Funny though, usually MC is very good about not corrupting chunks no matter the reason for shut down. Possibly a glitch in the newer versions...not sure.

But anyway:

Shit, horses are 1.6. This version is just bugfixes.

One of the phenomena round the glitch closest to ADB. Cows are just randomly spawning in greater and greater numbers.

Connectivity Update:

HO is linked up via Rails and Nether portal to our cluster. I haven't labeled anything yet with signs (basically the nether portal is the one farthest out over the lava lake south of my portal), and HO needs to build a station for the end of his rail line.

Okay server is back up, chunks are restored to virgin state so I'm doing a quick couple of walls for your place ADL, can't remember windows etc so I'll leave them to you

Nether Rail to Fort #2 is up and running (aside from needing a junction between the first and second rails, and needing an endpoint station).

I have built a prototype of the above speed ice/trapdoor pathway across the river from the village. The key is to sprint and then keep jumping as fast as possible. Feel free to give it a go (it is incredibly fast).
