I've been having the same issue as Green Pig - can't pick up items, seem to be invisible and invincible to most things too. According to the support forums we need the admin to delete the .dat files of our player/character, which will reset us (but not the work we've done). Heads up though, GP, you'll lose all items so stash them in a chest first!

I'm ready for that whenever, so Jim if you see that, can you please do that? Alternatively, maybe the mods have access to something like a server player list that they can delete my data from?

I'll go and do that now!

Yep, lost all my tools, sword, coal, and big heap of cooked stone I'd just made. And I had to walk home! Moons Spawn is looking fine though.

@CF - I'm planning on extending the ruins once I've sorted the hilltop temple - I really want to try an aquaduct with a lot of arches. I've tried to do toppled pillars, at least I've put debris in heaps like fallen columns - it sort of works.

And FUCK! I just logged in to find I've somehow died since my last entry and found myself naked and alone at the spawn point.

I've now lost
8 stacks of minetracks
2 full sets of diamond tools
4 stacks of redstone
2 stacks of Iron
2 stacks of torches
1 stack of obsidian

and various rocks and planks that I still have aplenty.

It's starting to get a little annoying.

It was the .dat files that got deleted that contained player inventories.

I'm still very curious about the diamonds and missing steel though...maybe the file governing chest contents got corrupted somehow. Very strange. 4x64 stacks of diamond is ridiculous and I'll likely just throw it into the lava so as not to be cheatin'. All my other chest contents are completely untouched.

I was on last night and replaced a few folks' things. Can do more of this tonight probably if you guys want. It's a 2 minute procedure to replace the things you describe. Just gotta look up the item codes and type the /give command. I also used my powers to save a player stuck on a fence. Hermanbarman also helped me get the arena floor finished so now I just need to wait for inspiration to strike before making the arena features.

And yes, I can always just /give myself things I lose, but I would like to do it for everybody else too. If you need stuff replaced, when do you think you'll be on this evening? I'll be home by 7:00 @ GMT-4h most likely.

I have also pmd jim about it.

He'll do it when he gets round to it. The server is a spare-time labour of love for him, so we can't get mad.

I offered to share the cost and pay for the server for a bit, but we're waiting until its all stable so we don't run into extra problems having 2 admins.

Usually its back on the same day it gets updated. Jim is a working stiff, it seems. My usual plan is to start a single player world to screw around with during these times.
