45 hours with maxing stuff and doing all subquests? Or just blasting through?

Also: one thing sword and board seems to miss is... shorter cooldowns.

Yeah, Im not insane or pirate, Im game journalist, got review copy earlier. Had week for it and it was hell of a run. But I did cca 80% of all subquests, without them that game isnt so fun and deep. So my run was rather slow lumbering with deadline swinging above my head...

Only got about 4 hours in so far, so not much to go on.

But so far the smartass response makes this game awesome. You can be such a dick! Its hilarious.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Played up to Kirkwall today. I like the graphics much more than Origins, dialogue is fun. Wonder if the story will be good. So far so good! Posted Image

I heard that the first few maps are good but then the later ones are all just copy/pastes of those earlier maps. And that every dungeon is the same.

So far I have 3 mages to choose from, with 1 rogue and 1 warrior to compliment. Odd shit.
Fun so far, even if rather uneventful (played 4 hours or so). WTB more Qunari content.

Yep, Steam preorder. I was surprised to see it enabled yesterday, launched it only to pre-load and BAM there it was.

I'm up to 4 years so far since the beginning of the story. the users who are giving it bad reviews either expected it to be DA:02 or are dumb. I really enjoy this game, and it works much better on consoles than the other did.

The 'comedic' response is amazing at all times. ALL Times.

Playing a Fire/Force mage right now and having a blast. Kind of weird that you can't give your companions armor, but I've gotten use to it.

Companions: I have 2 mages, 1 rogue, 3 warriors. I could have gotten a second rogue but I bugged the quest out and wanted to continue on the main storyline so I think I missed it.

I'm playing through as a mage at the moment, while trying to balance between being nice to the circle and to the chantry... I'm playing 'good' and not taking any simple murder requests or anything.

Anyway, I really like the game. I have heard it described as 'ME2ish' compared to ME1, if you know what I mean (Mass Effect). I agree, but that doesn't mean it is a bad game at all.

Trying to rush through on easy and then will go back as a warrior and go through on a harder difficulty. My standard party right now is Sword+Board defensive warrior, rogue, me (mage), and another mage.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne: It's like hunting monsters, but on crack, but the monsters are also on crack.

I'm about 10 hours in atm and i dont get the hate. I'm enjoying the hell out of this game.

Its definitely different than the first game, but i think its a good thing. For one thing there is less dialogue than the first, thank god. If you do a simple quest for someone there is no 3 minute cutscene where they thank you and explain how you helped them. You just get the money and xp, the end.

I also like the combat better, theres just so many sweet ass moves that all the classes can do.

Started my first playthrough as a smartass rogue, but to be honest unless you just like the fighting style of a rogue, I dont think i've opened a locked chest worth a damn the whole game. But the two knives is sweet.

So far i'm rolling my rogue, the elf warrior Fenris (the chick warrior you meet at the beginning is just boring), Varric (who's awesome btw) and either Anders or Merrill. If it was Anders from Awakenings i'd use him all the time. But instead of smartass easy going Anders we got tortured soul whinly Anders.

I'm going me, Merril, Varric, and the chick warrior you meet at the beginning. Varric and the Warrior get into it all the time, and she is a good companion for the goodie-twoshoes I am playing.

Merril is hilarious. 'I saw someone mugged, it was so interesting!'.

I am enjoying the game but I have to say, for me, it's a step back from DA:O in terms of actual role-playing if not game play. I hate the fact that your stuck in one city (at least up to 4 years in), which is my biggest problem with the game along with not actually playing every year (I was so pumped to be marching around the Free Marches as a sword-for-hire for my first year, oh wait what's this you just skip that part?). If the give me a interactive map with ten locations and tell me the story take over ten years before launch I better be in ten different places damnit! I also dislike the fact that I haven't found any awesome loot yet, there aren't any Juggernauts or Legion of the Dead OMG awesome items yet. Along with the fact that you can't pimp out your crew in stylish amour makes me sad. The new dialouge options are both awesome yet feel way to easy. No more navigating dialouge options to get your partners to like you just agree with everything they say and the love you...lame. But this way I can be snarky a-hole so I guess it's give and take. The characters are awesome, and Hawke himself is sweet, though it did bite that I couldnt pick my race. The fighting is again both awesome yet seems dumb down aka the skill trees. The graphic are much approve as well. Having a voiced character is a welcome change. All in all I guess because of my expectations the game is less than what I wanted, yet I can't deny that it is fun but not stopping-the-Blight-while-having-a-god-child-and-punching-werewolves-in-the-face fun. Feels like they tried to force the ME2 template onto DA which doesn't work as well as it did with ME2.
