Here's my current thinking. SR was possibly a symp. No way to know though.
I think the best way to move forward is simple.
Today is possibly d-day. However, if SR was a symp, it isn't. So, I think we should rule out, for today, the people SR could have been a symp for. That way, we get the best spread. We go for someone unrelated to SR today. Then, if the game continues, we can go from there, knowing we've hit some form of scum along the way.
I think lynching someone related to SR today would be a bad move. It's possible we'll get unlucky, and it'll turn out that say Galain is scum, but Silchas was an inno. However, that seems unlikely. I think it's quite possible that Galain is scum-like I said yesterday, I think SR as most likely a symp. Kind of an annoying move by Kesso, forcing us to lynch him, and one he seemed rather aware of. So, I think that we should ignore the people that SR seemed most likely allied with, because if we go for one of them, it's basically putting all our eggs in one basket, and hoping he was the symp.
So, today, I think it would be bad to lynch Galain. Sorrit aswell, though to a lesser degree.

I agree with this reasoning. With SR coming up inno, I'm fairly certain that both killers were on the train against me day one. There is a chance that emu is the second scum and didn't make it on in time - which could also explain the lack of NK night one, but I am very hesitant to base a D-day case on meta speculation. What we need to remember is that we don't necessarily have to pin down a pair today, we just need to hit one of the scum. So we can still possible pairing with emu into account, but look for a pair within the people that were trying to lynch me. Then we lynch the one of the two that is more likely to overlap with other possible partners, emu included.

You two did not just post this?
Essentially, Galain, Atrahal just symped you and Sorrit to the max. Essentially saying that we should gamble all on the fact that SR was the symp, and neither of you two are the killers, perfectly setting himself, you and Sorrit up as the symp/killer trio! Oh my god, I don't think my brain can take this kind of WIFOM-type shit the day the clock starts again.
Not to mention, Atrahal also says HE THINKS YOU ARE (QUITE POSSIBLY) A KILLER AND SR WAS THE SYMP. But he still believes we should give you a day off.
Now, I'm not saying I necessarily disagree with the idea of looking elsewhere - I was thinking about it myself. But to go and post THAT (points up) is...seriously? After all the crap we've had that originally stemmed from Sorrit/You and a few random posts on day one, which evolved (partly by my own involvement) into a set of likely suspects that included you and Sorrit, and to have both of you survive TWO DAYS of the game, and then to have a third party come in and post that he thinks you should both get a free pass, despite thinking one of you is likely to be a killer, and that Silchas was the symp, smacks of the most epic sympage imagineable. I mean...GAH. WTF ATRAHAL?

To put atrahal's point in a nutshell - if SR was a symp (and therefore most likely my symp), then it is not D-day today. If he wasn't (which is the case) then today is D-day and voting me off will cost the game. Either way, the best course of action is to look at some of the other people who haven't gotten much flak due to the continued focus on me. I don't see how you can disagree with this logic.
And atrahal, who was the person who started and pushed the case on me day one is now my symp? Symping myself and my killer partner Sorrit, whose actions almost got me lynched in the first place? Just take a moment to think about how unlikely the situation you describe in your post is when taking into account what had happened the whole game, not just in the last few posts.
I think you do protest too much.

i fail to see this kind of logic. Basing a possible d-day scenario on hoping we hit a symp is frankly suicidal. Posting that you think a player is scum but deciding we should go for a random instead is just such an odd leap in logic it just has to be crap.

You dont want to lynch galain because he may be scum, you could be a symp for galain or someone else. hell you could be the killer and know galain is inno and are making your play. either way that post was bonkers.

We spent much time rubishing cases because a symp would be stupid to do this/that so early. On the other hand, when the possibility that a symp has actually done a good job of derailing trains and playing smooth, it means it's unlikely also?
I'm eager to keep options open and not rule you out on one other player's say-so. I agreed with his logic, THEN he posted that ridiculous post. So while the former point makes me inclined to agree with him (and hey, look! I didn't vote for you!) the latter makes me go 'oh fucking hell, that just makes me doubt myself', hence me pointing such out on thread.

I think you've survived two days of attempted lynchings, Galain.
Besides, I specifically stated I don't disagree with his logic, just that his post is absolutely screaming symp to me, which is unfortunate given its contents.

I've survived one really weak day one case, and been the subject of much discussion thereafter.
I said before that atrahal only looks like my symp if you ignore the context of pretty much everything else that has happened so far this game. Why are you so eager to keep pressure on me, especially if you agree with atrahal's logic?
We spent much time rubishing cases because a symp would be stupid to do this/that so early. On the other hand, when the possibility that a symp has actually done a good job of derailing trains and playing smooth, it means it's unlikely also?
I'm eager to keep options open and not rule you out on one other player's say-so. I agreed with his logic, THEN he posted that ridiculous post. So while the former point makes me inclined to agree with him (and hey, look! I didn't vote for you!) the latter makes me go 'oh fucking hell, that just makes me doubt myself', hence me pointing such out on thread.

Sarcasm? XD
You do know that atrahal nearly got galain lynched on day one right?
