I has arrived!
And holy shit, people are serious (or faking seriousnes on a day 1) , did everyone eat from the magic shroom?
I'm not sure what to make of Atrahal. His reasoning sounds alright, after all its better to go after the scum than the symp.
Yet seems willing to grab the game from the horns from day 1 - wifom aside, dangerous play either if inno or scum non the less.
Silchas also trying to maintain his 'cool' , Anomandaris voting for him for being a 'symp' but doesn't tell us who he is symping for though.
Anyone else missing on thread, or basically most of us are here?
vote Galain
for being the most sound case so far.

I can Haz Cheezburgers? Good stuff day one and the ant hill seems a bit stirred up... did we really hit something day one? I am most certainly amazed!! I can haz cheezburgers???!? The Analytical lovers each repeat the same thing every game about day one being a waste. I disaggree most orgasmically! I can haz cheezeburgers nao?!?! I think a good day one sets up a good base for our future voting. So, while me might almost never hit scum day one, it does help us down the line. I can't haz cheezeburgers??

That's no meme. It's a space-station.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

I want to give more participation but I haven't had a ton of time yet. For what it's worth, I think Galain, Sorrit, Atrahal, and D'riss all have a slightly-higher-than-normal chance of being scum simply for adding to existing votes.

To me this post smacks of signaling. Starting off his opening post with one of the opening quotes of the game and continuing it through the entire post., this is a post that I would make if I was trying to get someones attention. While I don't know who Olar is trying to signal I think that he is most definitely trying to signal someone.
Thus
Vote Olar Ethil
Editing for completeness

Sew, I see not a lot has happened although there's been some attempt to hunt scum on this, day one. I'm honestly not sure where to go...I mean, we haven't spammed the thread like we usually do, this is a really quiet day one - which means we have low chances of flushing low-posting scum out. Then again, we seem to have generally resisted or ignored lynching low posters in the last few games, so I dunno.
The whole symping/train-starting stuff is cool and all, but really we're still taking a stab in the dark. It's just in a different direction than normal. I honestly don't think we're likely to get scum based on precedence, though, because the idea that scum do the same thing each game (when they're played by different people each time, too) is just silly.
Argh. How much time do we have left? Anyone know?

Don't worry about the missing people until they turn up an hour from modkill, make a post and disappear. Remember - strictly enforced modkill this game.

Cry more, D'riss. I had a busy day at work and barely got any time today as it is. After work, I have plenty to do at home.
So I'm here now and your finger pointing is noted for posterity.

Before I left today, I noticed the same thing Emur did. Olar's post just had a very bizarre ring to it. I don't agree that it was signalling, but it sounded like trying way too hard. Do we have any newbies in this one?

Well, you guys keep up the good work. I can apparently fuck and vote, so I'm assuming I can three-way and sleep at the same time. See you all in the morning, bright and early...
Well, you guys keep up the good work. I can apparently fuck and vote, so I'm assuming I can three-way and sleep at the same time. See you all in the morning, bright and early...
But we would you want to? Is our three-way that boring that you are going to sleep through it?
Honestly, I find the above to be the most suspicious thing in the game so far. We talk about sexytime frequently around here but three-way is a pretty big word to throw out in a game where it's not clear from the setup who the bad guys are. If HP were, for example, a symp, it may be a good clue that he knows of 2 scum masters. The Galain response could be signalling, but it would indicate that if he's the master, he has foolishly given himself away for no reason.
So if HP is scummy, I would be very stunned if Galain were, as well.

Nope. We're all 'sperienced to some level or another. Unless Bent counts for not having played in ages.

The converse to this is that if HP is clean, Galain and Sorrit suddenly look quite bad for the double team. But again, that would a very poor play, and I'm inclined to believe that the players here aren't going to make an "I agree. Vote HP," kind of mistake.
So I guess my biggest 'suspects' are HP for the 3-way comment and Olar for a weirdly phrased post. But, it's also Day 1.
