What about the Snake?
In his blog he deconstructed a section about the Snake, so it's pretty obvious that they will appear in the book. Although no mention in the blurb...

Owww this is gonna be fun! :D

As for Draconus and Silchas, I'm kinda hoping they'll meet up. :p

Also could someone please tell me what IIRC means? It's been bugging me for a while now.

If I Recall Correctly. FYI.

ModGod Threadmerge executed with another Synopsis thread, btw.

Just got back and read this. No surprises really, other than the note that Tavore is still with whatever is left of the Bonehunters and co.

- Abyss, STILL psyched!

I would direct you to SE's "Life as a human" blog, found around here some place (announcement forum, I believe) where he deconstructs a Snake section. And then makes a commenter look like a moran.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Yes, but it takes an extra-special moran to tell an author what and how to write on his own blog.

And thanks for explaining the meaning of iirc. :p

It's a play on this meme:

Of course, I look like a moran if you don't get the joke. Risk/reward.

Friend, know this for certain. Whatever Anomander Rake now attempts to do, he does not do it for himself.

So much that this blurb didn't say that has me intrigued. Pretty much everything D'rek mentioned is sure to happen, and i also wonder what the Letheriis role will be in this, i.e Tehol, Janall, etc.? As well as the crazy Ublala Pung, who last mentioned to Draconus something about "i'm supposed to save the world", all before wagging his dong at a pissed off Bargast maiden warrior! Should be lots of funny and exciting mayhem!
