I was genuinely gutted because I thought all we should have said was "It's about FOOTBALL YOU MORONS! WE PLAY FOOTBALL AND LOVE FOOTBALL LIKE NO OTHER COUNTRY ON EARTH!! Also, because the whole country is already set up to be based around football, it won't cost you much to put it on here and you will make loads, which should appeal to your money grabbing hearts..." That would have been just as effective...

How could we compete with "The KGB know exactly where your families are and snipers are currently moving into position..."

Oh please.
Sole reason England didnt get the wc:
1966.
If the media would do the country a favour and shut the fuck up about 66 and '64 years of hurt' (which is retarded, at best its 61) then the england bid might have stood a chance.

You know the league is shit when Arsenal, despite having Fabianski in goal and no defenders whatseoever worth their salt, are top.

And Man Utd are still unbeaten! Makes it all a bit more interesting though.

So now it's the pitch at Old Trafford's fault? http://news.bbc.co.u...rem/9283860.stm Did it not occur, mr Wenger, that maybe we are just better than you?

You lot were actually piss poor; you were saved by the fact that we were even worse. Absolutely abysmal. I swear Clichy was being paid to throw the game, he went beyond the rest of the team's "meh, I'd rather not bother" attitude to effectively trying to give you the ball in dangerous positions whenever possible.

I always find the comments on the pitch funny as surely it's the same for both teams...

Anyway, I think the problem for Arsenal, at the moment, is that Fergie has Wenger's number hands down, crowd the midfield with 5 and don't give any space and it seems to result in an automatic win for Man Utd... Sit back deep and don't give any space in behind too, predictable...

I thought last night may of been different but...

Arsene Wenger doesn't learn anything from these games, he just blames something else. Keep the points coming, baby.

The 43-year-old said: "If we have a full squad and £5million, I am confident we could finish above 10th. But we need to sit down and see how the £5million breaks down.

"I do not know if it is just £5million on salaries and fees or just fees. First and foremost we need to know what the budget is for January.

"Hopefully I can give input because I've been working with them very closely and we know the academy group under that. I know everybody at the club.

"Can we finish in the top five only spending £5million? It is fair comment if everyone is fit. That has slightly changed because we have a few injuries."

Funniest comment this year?

Really must be something in the air around Blackburn, first with Sam Allardyce commenting that he could manage Real or Inter and now this... Delusional!

Fuuuuuuuuuuuu....... We need reinforcement. Central defender x2, defensive mid and a back-up striker. van Wolswinckel is talented, but at best a replacement for Babel.....

Dzeko, at £27mil - if this plays out, I make that 5 strikers Citeh have who cost an average of £20mil each. That is just obscene.
