Help me name my dog

We got a puppy.

We're having trouble settling on a name. Here's the criteria. We are looking for a human name, one that isn't super common. any fantasy name will probably get shot down by the wife. Ethnic names are acceptable.

The doggy is a female, 1/2 Bichon, 1/4 shitzu, 1/4 pomeranian. She is very sweet and loving, but quite spunky when she gets fired up.

Please throw out some suggestions.

Will you end up giving it a nickname or calling it by other names? If so, what's the point. Call it Marie.

Random names for the win. I've always found Rebecca to be a nice precursor to the middle name of Marie. And by "always found", I of course mean, in my present drunken meandering thoughts.

Cosette, has been, and for the foreseeable unattainable future will remain, my preferred name for a baby-girl. Love it, from Les Miserables (Jean Val Jean's adopted daughter.)

Edit: Come to think of it. Don't name it Cosette. I could never name a baby that will probably never be made, Cosette, if I had recommended it be used for a dog. Just know that I love the name.

Your dog should be named Lola.

It's settled, the dog is named Penny Marie Luxury Yacht. Lola was in the running but got eliminated because that is her mother's name.
