hmm, it's almost 3 AM, and i've just spent the last hour and 15 min ironing my laundry.

I'm well aware why i've done this--lousy parents and conditioning that goes back to grade 9. My mom would be proud.

since i'm not sure if this is making me happy or messing with my groove, i'll write this here and let others judge this.

In other news, I hate end of semester at uni. It's 4 a.m. and I'm studying for two three hour language exams on Thursday (one after the other *groan*) because the daytime will be taken up with classes, assignments and work. This isn't a result of procrastination, neither. Sigh. Arts was supposed to be easy, dammit.

Thing is, i'm thick-skinned. if I was to be paid to listen to ppl bitch at me all day, I just tune it out.

Bollocking fuck, I've just found out the party I'm goign to on Saturday is halloween fancy dress. I fucking hate halloween. Inevitably, you either go in an amazing costume only to discover nobody else has been arsed so you look stupid and can't breathe all night, or you go understated and everybody else has made the effort and looks disappointed in you. Plus, I have to catch night buses home, so I don't wanna be stuck in some hefty costume for drunk people to laugh at and try and play with or something.

So internets people, what do I go as?

I was considering the shite effort of one weird contact lens and a prosthetic face scar I can peel off, but that's possibly underkill.

I have gone to a 'dress-up' party as Indiana Jones though, and my at-the-time gf went as Lara Croft. It was pretty awesome.

I'd discreetly ask a couple of people if they're gonna bother with the costuming, and then act accordingly. It's what I always do.

I collapsed in my bed round 3:30 AM on Friday night, after popping 3 or 4 tablets of activated carbon. I had to get up for a 10AM job training that was to last 7 hours (there was an hour-long break). I ended up rousing myself at 7-30ish, still completely plastered and proceeeded to do whatever I could to sober up. that entire weekend I barely ate anything, because even the sight of food made my stomach churn.

thankfully, that's all in the evil, nearly forgotten past.


It's Thursday, the weekend is nearly here! yay.
Despite this, I am mighty confused
I am spending just about the same amount of time with the girl from Friday that I did before, when all my friends joked about somehting going on between us. (read: a lot). we converse via texts and facebook nearly non-stop when not in class, and in class we're in the same section. Whilst we've made pretty clear (I thought) that nothing was happening between us, esp after Friday.
