Congrats, TT.

you now have someone to whom you can pass on the great Cockney lore of pick -pocketing and shoe-shining, whulst pretending to be the kindly, spoiling uncle. a perfect opportunity to mold a human being in your own image.

Oh, and I think it goes without saying that for their first birthday the child should get Malazan books on tape, to teach them good literature whilst they are young.

Congrats on becoming an uncle TT! Oh and figure out how to do the phone to computer thingy, I want to see the puppy! By the way, you're going down in our fantasy football match up this week.

@Ment Yes indeed the weather is crappy at the moment and it's only going to get worse. I hate this cold and rainy stuff, although fall is my favourite season. It will be interesting to see what you think of our Winnipeg winters, I hope you brought a warm coat!

@RMDD Well done on saving two people's lives, you've just earned yourself a drink on the house sir.

not bad. the rain's depressing many people from my class, esp the vancouverites, who are already shivering.

I'm done class, though, so that's a huge plus.

I have a question for my fellow Canadians.
Do any of you like Jay Ingram?
He's pretty much been the face of DiscoveryChannel Canada since its creation, and I've never liked him.

While I am a fan of Discover Channel and many of it's programs ( on the rare occasions that I watch tv) I am most definitely not a fan of Jay Ingram. I really wish they would replace him.

On another note I am turning into an OLN (Outdoor Life Network) junkie! I can't get enough of their shows. I also love, love, love History Channel, it's like crack. They have this new show Chasing Mummies hosted by Zahi Hawaas, he's bad ass. I love anything he's a part of.

Completely unrelated, you have to love the general public. I just walked into a treatment room and said my usual hello, how are you doing today to the patient. She kindly responded that she feels like she's dying, she's had a horrible cold for three weeks that is getting worse and worse, the worst she's ever had. In my head I'm thinking well thank you for coming in here and sharing it with me! Why the hell don't people cancel their appointments if they're that sick! No one wants your cold!

Yeah I've been pretty busy at work and studying and having a slight social life lately.

I've been considering a smart phone for my next upgrade... but going overseas shortly combined with moving in January means I will be broke for a while so can't really afford one :)

Peppermint tea is fantastic in stupidly cold air-conditioning.

The point of tea in cold weather is to scold your insides to prevent them from freezing.

ice would be counterproductive.
