For what its worth, i wrote that before heading off to a social at a bar. After educating a number of girls from vancouver how to play flip cup, and sharing a cab back, I proceeded to head downstairs, drink more beer and play pool with people from residence

did I mention that my rez has an awesome pool table, free of charge?

anyhow, classes today were fairly heavy today, sespite being mere intro lectures. This wont be like undergrad, pacing is key........

I think you'll find that the history of alcohol is very important. For instance, my secondary (or "high") school was set up in the 1600s with money from the Worshipful Company of Brewers. As a result of that link, every year you got something called "beer money." I'm sorry, when you're an unemployed 17 year old and someone gives you enough money to go get 4 or 5 pints absolutely free for no reason, all because of history, you start to appreciate the link.


On a different note, I've had such an Eastenders night tonight its unbelievable. Cirry and lots of beer in an absolute dive in east London. Walls were made of MDF, at one point it was about half an hour where all you could hear were sirens outside, my mate revealed he'd recently discovered he has a 4 year old son, a girl I vaguely know turned up with a baby no-one knew she had, and a man vomited all over himself. Good times.

so, I finally succumbed to join the ranks of my fellow residents who connect to the wireless nets from hallways, because reception's not strong enough in our rooms.

had a day off today, used it to purchase my many textbooks, and tonight there's apparently a boat cruise, where we're all supposed to get really wasted. it's supoposedly expensive as hell once you get ont he boat, so i'll havce to make sure to be well-sloshed by then.

Anyhow, beed sleep. No more psarrying startving next week. Bough all books today, need tp seriously study once next week satrys....
