That song was the theme of my Junior Prom, Dearest. Lol.

Was it really! I think you're a few years older than me and we don't have jr prom in canada so I have no idea what mine would have been. Fantastic song though!

Didn't they ban slap bracelets for being hazardous?

Some old school madonna, with my fave video

Teh theme song for my equivalent to Prom was Greend Day's Time of My Life. Lame. The band played some awesome bluegrass stuff though.

Neon blue and pink were big hits as far as I was concerned. I wore them to school.

My brother had Neon Yellow something. Sometimes I thank my mother for being fashion conscientious, sometimes it wasn't such a good thing.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Oh so did I and I watched the cartoon and saw them in concert. I was a major fan girl!

@HMQB this wasn't just any spandex much of the time it was neon lol

no spandex in now times

Well that hardly counts! Spandex in now times is nowhere near as ridiculous!

Can we have a card please I'm sobering up here!

I'm not seeing nearly enough links to ebay btw. I think everyone except MTS, HM and myself need to take a shot.

Right HD, you are making a rule (7Diamonds), MTS you are setting us a task (J Clubs) , Tehol gets to break a rule at some point in the future (8 hearts) aand HMQB also gets to make a rule (7 hearts).

I had the neon pink for sure, but I remember by brother having neon green shorts with black stars on the sides and a matching top hahaha!

I think the early 90's were just a fashion disaster that never needs to be repeated. it will be a cold day in hell before you ever catch me in neon spandex again.

In honor of Hyperion (best thing I've read in a long long time), when using the name of a person in your post you must include "M." without the quote marks before the name.

Edit: Yeah, I'm going to nerd up my rule. :(
