He's apparently a big Ark player (over 1000 hours played), so they made him executive producer on the sequel.

Also, due to his pull, the animated series has some primo actors.

10 American bucks for 2 civs and 3 campaigns (the Britons FINALLY get one... and it's Edward Longshanks, the nemesis of everyone's favourite, the over-enthusiastic Scottish tutorial man)

Considering base DE was 20 USD, people are calling it an outrage and pay2win. ((Nevermind that DE itself was a steal, compared to Buying HD, and then 3 expansions on top of that)

Like no one remembers that this is the FOURTH time since 2013's HD release that extra civs were sold as expansion.... and no one called the game Pay2Win then.

I really don't think it's egregious; especially since I happen to know (by which I mean, I frequently give feedback to), a few of the scenario designers on Forgotten Empires, so I'm anticipating quality stuff fromt he campaigns, which is the reason I play AoK in the first place.

Sergey Galyonkin, the SteamSpy guy and EGS' main acquisitions guy said that the speculated twitter list is fake.

prolly some cool stuff in there, but I wouldn't expect AAA blockbusters. Epic's not even doing the infinite respawn discount coupon anymore.

It's an MMO from a company that makes MMOs, but everyone will be playing the same (named) character, so the story is more important than in most MMOs. But somehow it's still supposed to be a single-shard (read: persistent word, like EVE online, or Elite: Dangerous) MMO, with PvP battles and siege events between clans and everything.

it looks pretty, sounds ambitious as hell, but ultimately, it's yet another Korean MMOs, so it remains to be seen how much of that actually comes to fruition.

I've been watching old TotalBiscuit Hearthstone videos and it's giving me this desire to play World of Warcraft.

There's so much lore and crazy ideas in the game now.

The Shadowlands expansion is out so now would be the time. But then I watch the gameplay videos and remember, WOWs core gameplay and design hasn't changed since 2004. I just can't imagine playing something that looks and feels that antiquated.

I wish Blizzard did a complete rebuild of WOW in third or first person, with modern control, instead of the click a button and wait for your character animation design.
