Bethesda caved in: Rage 2, Doom Eternal, Wolvenstein Youngblood and Fallout 76 are coming to Steam.

Makes sense: Bethesda needs to make amends for Fallout 76 and hating on storefront exclusivity is the current PC zeitgeist, so it's a great way to score some credibility.

Gonna be on a lookout for an affordable Steam Key for Rage 2 again. Had good fun with the original this winter, but I wasn't gonna grab it on the Beth launcher without achievements.

What’s wrong with Fallout 76(I don’t play these) did they pull a ME: Andromeda or something?

My understanding is its just a bad game. MMO fallout game in which their are no NPCs to actually give you the quests and the story is kinda just missing. Then there were problems between the players who just wanted to form gangs and rape the other newb players and players who found the game impossible to play under those circumstances and it just degenerated from there.

Been out on Ios for years! It blew my mind too first time I saw it. Kinda makes me sad too. When they say they sent a man to the moon using a computer with the same power as a pocket calculator I now believe it. Pretty soon my toaster will be a better computer than my current gaming rig.

Cost me a tenner on the Android market and they have done it very well - once you get past the slight awkwardness of the controls (Mac you have hands the size of a small country so this may effect you) it is more or less the exact same game as the original and I love it!

The feedback I'm getting is that Sekiro has decent K&M controls.

This means I'll probably pick it up soon-ish (after I play through Onimusha: Warlords)

Given I'm gonna have 2 long weekends for Easter(s), that'll give me some time to get into it properly.

I'm so confused.

Went for a female Nord in Skyrim. Might go for sword and shield type with high damage protection. Dunno. Will probably make it up as I go along haha

Soo, with everyone but Squeeenix having already stated whether they will/won't be showing off @ E3, is it time for a new dedthread? Apt, you wanna do the honours? (My data cap's almost dead, so I can't surf from my phone at work until Monday)

Also, going back to an earlier discussio re: WoD:

Cyanide put out an announcement trailer for "Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory, a party-based RPG based on the PnP game (I believe Tapper had good things to say about it). Published by Cyanide's owner, BigBen, I'm guessing this means the Werewolf: the Apocalypse RPG is on the backburner for now...

Sega is now teasing Yakuza Kiwami 2 on Steam. (Edit: release date is May 9th)

Focus Home has their press event today.

-Surge 2 is coming out in the next 2 months. Deck 13 is also working on a new franchise
-Vampyr sold over 1 million copies (needed 500k to become profitable). Focus and Dontnod are now launching "one of the most ambitious projects in the history of both companies" as well.
-Greedfall still slated for release later this year. Some new screenshots- game still looks cool.
-Despite last year's Call of Cthulhu being pretty "meh", Focus Home Interactive secured a 10-year deal to produce licensed Call of Cthulhu games. (I guess this could be cool, if they make something like The Council, but with Deep Ones)
-Sumo Digital is making them a new multi-player game.
-there's also a Games Workshop licensed game being made by ex-Relic employees from Gasket Games as blackbird (the Desert of Kharak devs).
-and another 2- a shooter from streumOn (the E.Y.E. and Deathwing devs), and one from Saber (who are just about to release a Word War Z co-op shooter)
-a few indie announcements as well- 1 studio from Paris, and another new studio from Estonia.
-And another game from Asobo (the devs of soon to be released Plague Tale: Innocence)

Really pretty poster art, but no trailers yet. I'm subscribed to Focus Home's YT channel, so once they put up some trailers, I'll probably update this.

for now their full press release (and pretty art with 3-verb descriptions of the projects), if anyone wants to look:

http://forums.focus-...hat-s-next-2019

I really like Focus Home, one of the most interesting publishers right now in terms of variety of content, so hearing that Vampyr did well and more games are coming is great news.
