FUSE! Was just saying to a friend the other day what a shame they never kept the original cartoony vibe.
Apt wait for Destiny 2 to be at the end of its life and you can buy the whole collection for the price of 60$ or down. That's what I am waiting to do. Will be a big pick up on players that same time too. D2 is probably worth some playtime but somehow Destiny is a whole lot of failed hype and they still cant seem to get basics right! I want to be able to play raids with ransoms if the choice is that or solo, if you insist raids are too complicated to play with randoms just make it that having mikes is compulsory.
I'm sad I cant find anyone who cares about DMC5

I kinda care. Need to play the previous games, but I do enjoy hitting big monsters with various weapons in spectacular fashion.
Speaking of which: Capcom announced an Onimusha remake.

Ah, Destiny 2 is of the PlayStation Plus games of September so now I only need the upgrade.

Huge Destiny 2 update my PS4 started downloading when I powered it on (351/2 GB in size). Must be for the Foresaken expansion that drops next Tuesday. I wonder if you can still play Destiny 2 without it?
I haven't read through all of the update notes, but looks like there is a buttload of shuffling things about. One of which is you can now use snipers and shotties in regular slots or something.

Rocket League progression update has broken the game - in the present state it's barely playable.
The primary issue is that whatever the update has done has caused the framerate to become ass garbage (contextually, it's been fine in the weeks leading up to this).
However, it's also caused some pretty severe issues with the car hitboxes - I play Masamune and that has occasional issues anyway, but now players are regularly clipping directly through the ball. I'm gonna drop this until Psyonix sort their shit out.

Was just coming here to say this! I believe we are in roughly the same time zone. Let me know if you want to play some vanilla destiny 2. If I enjoy it I may consider the forsaken upgrade.

@ Cause
I might have time late afternoon or in the evenings during the weekend.
I played through the intro this morning. Seems cool. Plays well.

I think this goose game might secretly be the video game singularity. It has everything, drama, suspense, action, humour.

Overall very positive reception:
https://opencritic.c...pider-man?tab=1
The main criticisms are basically what I expected, like the open world side content.
I'm surprised by how much Peter Parker stuff is in the game. Wouldn't imagine we'd be playing as Mary Jane, etc.

Aren't you glad you bought a Playstation 4? And that your Xbox One can be relegated to a door stop? Don't forget dust it off now and again, it'll make it too slippery to keep those doors open.

Good on Insomniac putting out a supposedly good game.
Hopefully this encourages other publishers to approach them to make more good multi-plat games, so that more people can enjoy their talented work.

Rocksteady is hiring a whole bunch of people for work on a "highly anticipated AAA next-gen title". They are working with WB again (owners of the DC Universe), and apparently aiming for a 90+ on metacritic. Also, hiring a community manager for 2 years hints at likely release date.
Both Eurogamer and PC Gamer seem to think an announcement of the game title is imminent.
Heavy speculation it'll be a Superman game. I'm kinda meh on that; I don't know much about comics, but I thought it was common knowledge that he's basically invincible except for Kryptonite? That'd make for pretty poor game mechanics.

I feel like this news is announced at least once a year. A superman game or a justice league game or a suicide squad game, etc.
My money is on a superman game as well. Question is what kind if game mechanics. Superman isn't always invulnerable depending on the writer. Heavy ordnance, energy weapons, magic or kryptonite weapons can hurt him or ultimately kill him. You could have red sun light generators or what ever nonsense that could limit superman abilities.

Superman travels back to Krypton and you have to get a job as a regular guy. You can choose between accountant or marketing consultant.
