Freebird Games, the studio behind To the Moon and Bird Story, just revealed a steam page and release window for a To the Moon sequel. The game is called Finding Paradise.

Definitely looking forward to this:

Blizzard is releasing the necromancer class for Diablo 3 (for a price) and has remade Diablo 1 with the Diablo 3 engine. I find this all intriguing but at the same time very dissapointing. Would rather they waited to release the necromancer with an actual expansion.

Conan plays Final Fantasy XV with Elijah Wood.

WTF! Posted Image @ 5:03 mark: "that was just to suss him out, and then when you actually battle him it takes three real days" - "it takes 72 real-time hours to beat him".

And if Civ 6 wasn't enough, Tyrrany was just released. A new isometric RPG from the Baldur's Gate people.

I really want to see what the reception to Final Fantasy 15 is going to be like. From what I've seen it looks great but then you scenes like that stuff about the dress and it makes you wonder.

Don't mind the 72 hour thing assuming it's a side quest/optional thing like Ruby weapon in FF7. I like it when games just make up crazy stuff like that. It's one of those achievement things.

I'm guessing you can save the game a various points? Or do you need a group of friends to trade off while taking a run at this 72 hour achievement? Or, if you do it solo, you need to go on a meth binge to stay up the full 72 hours?

Some beta footage of Spacehulk: Deathwing has leaked:

The combat doesn't exactly look super challenging but I love everything about this footage. The atmospheric sounds, the steam, the thump of your power armor, that bolter, etc.

I doubt this game is going to be GOTY or anything but I really want to play this.

One day this will be a 8K VR game and my life will be complete.

EDIT: Looking at the way the soldiers move, I can tell positioning and lines of fire is going to be super important. I was getting frustrated when I noticed the player and the other guy (maybe an AI?) didn't keep an eye on each other properly or held down fire lanes.

Well it is the same guys.

I really appreciated EYE for what it was when I played it but I remember I never got really far into it. Mostly because it was really rough, crashed on my constantly and the game was really bad at explaning what the hell was going on.

Kind of want to go back and try it again but EYE didn't have a tenth of the polish I see in Deathwing.

EYE was a mile wide, an inch deep.

I only got as far as back in the temple after Mars. The story made no sense, but I read a review recently that explained this was on purpose.

Best parts of the game was just picking up random jobs in New Eden or Electric Sheep. Gun- and sword-play was fun, and the level aesthetics really cool.

Shoot stuff. Sword stuff. Hack stuff. Gain brouzoufs. Find random stuff to research. Get random "you killed XYZ" pop-ups.

20 bucks well-spent.

If deathwing manages to not lose the "feel like ultimate badass" feeling, but actually be coherent and work, it should be a hit. E.Y.E had all the makings of a great game inside it.

Oh man! Is there a treat waiting for Xbox Live Gold members! Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is free! Man oh man, if you haven't played this beauteous homage to 80s action movies, do yourself a favor and make it the highest priority on your game play list. Like, I'm talking put on hold whatever you are playing and play it now! kay? If you don't, then you're a "douche shitter". Posted Image

I caved and picked up a GeForce 1060 3 GB DDR5.

I blame my bosses giving me my first post-raise check on Black Friday.

Now I might need to purchase a new PSU...

EDITED: yup, 420W is not enough. Gonna pick up a 600W tomorrow morning.

Somebody made a compilation of all the ways he killed Kirin Jindosh in Dishonored 2.

He got pretty creative

I'm playing a non-lethal game with Corvo (on hard) this time, accepting the errors I make so I've yet to manage a perfect stealth run. I think for my next game I will play as the Empress and aim for the ghost achievement, but be an active and cruel killer. There's so many ways to have fun with this game and the level design I feel I need to experiment more actively.

With Corvo my best trick so far has been to use several clocks to guide half a dozen guards into together into a group and down a path that led them into a cluster of shock mines.

I've found that after upgrading the stun mines to hold several charges, you can just place them randomly. One guard gets shocked. Another one goes to check and gets shocked, etc.

I am playing weirdly. I am stealthily and skulking about, despite just ending up murdering everybody anyway. It's a mess. Not really that satisfying from a challenge perspective but I do enjoy stabbing people so there is that.

I've been considering doing a ghost run as well. If I wasn't spending hours searching high and low for trinkets and hoovering every valuable, I imagine it would take less than 5 minutes to get through the levels if you save and load for mistakes.

Been thinking about doing the same with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. On a New Game+ run the abilities would make it very easy to bypass a lot of that game.

I did that with Human Revolution on a New Game+ from an original stealth run. It was boring as hell. So halfway through I decided I would be merciful to 'civ' guards (like Tai Yong Medical staff) and just straight up silent-murder the spec ops guys in creative ways. Much more fun. :(

Note to self: do NOT play "Arkham Knight" on weeknights. That leads to problems of the "shit, how is it 2 AM already?" variety.

That being said, 8 hours in (thanks, Steam!) and going off the 1st island for the first time. Still having some trouble getting my bearings, tbh. I'm kinda appreciating appreciating the creative way the bat-Hummer is used in problem-solving. But the actual drivin and exploring exploring the city from ground level still feels odd and out of place in the whole "batman games" context. Oh, and there's some keyboard mapping annoyances with the controls. Game seems hell-bent hell-bent to make be buy a controller.

In general, having fun, but need moar super-villain side stories, b/c not a whole lot happening right now besides that main story.

Edit: oh, and the rain spots on Bats' cape as I float around the city are gorgeous.
