Guardians of the Galaxy is out... next week?
Back4Blood came out yesterday. Metroid Dread also out last week, I think, and it's selling pretty well.
Microsoft still has Age of Empires, Forza and Halo to go; BattleField and CoD are coming.
Feels pretty typical as far as AAA releases go, tbh. Also a metric ton of cool indies came out in September, and there's gonna be another wave in November;
I mean, there's no big Sony game, but we all knew that. Kena, Deathloop and Jett are their latest exclusives.
Not sure where you're seeing lack of buzz, there's games of every flavour out there.
In general I agree. My post principally was a conversation starter, but to me it has somewhat been more low-key then past autumn/holiday release seasons, probably just my perception though. Also, as I alluded to, the huge hype about Cyperpunk 2027 last year (e.g. huge drapery signs outside of Best Buy advertising it) has skewed my impression of this year.
Oh yeah, Halo Infinite. I've been reading some serious accolades about the muliplayer. Haven't seen anything about the single player campaign though. I wonder it it will deliver in that aspect?
Back4Blood is a restart of the Left4Dead series, right?
