When the next gen consoles launch, do you guys think there is going to be a lot of "coronavirus/Covid-19" gamertags and/or gamertag names that are variations on the virus?

I'm not usually into rogue-lites, cuz I like to have a set challenge and work to improve on beating it.
However, Dreamscaper seems to be offering a unique enough twist on the formula. Basically you play as a girl/young woman struggling with depression, who is doing real-life stuff when awake, making life choices that impact real-life relationships; and when she's asleep, she has to fight the manifestations of her psych symptoms, that vary reflecting her real-life status/choices.
A free prologue with 6-8 hours of content is releasing on Steam this week, so I'm gonna check that out.
Here is the trailer from the recent indie direct

Personally, I think the Steam page trailers do a better job, but YT is not making it easy to find those.

Sony revealed the PS5 controller:

Sounds like it's just an advanced version of the PS4 controller which is fine by me. Wish they'd do something more creative with the middle bar/button though.

The middle touch pad has been a feature that doesn't make sense or has never been fully utilized/realized. If that approach continues with PS5, I would rather they just make it a standard button and use the freed up space to play around with off-set analog stick configurations, like the Xbox controller.

Now you mention it, the sticks aside, if you look at the new controllers outline it sure is looking a lot like an Xbox controllers profile.

.BK you do recall they drastically changed the controller for the PS4, right?

It wasn't *that* different...
A Haunting Poem

You Scream
We all Scream
For I Scream.

We all Scream
For I Scream.

Okay maybe "drastical" was an exaggeration. It's a gradual evolution.
I'm curious about that microphone. If it's usable without the mic picking up every sound in the room it could be useful for certain scenarios, like playing Destiny or The Division, when you want to makea quick decision.

Really hoping that with the Panzar Dragoon remaster on Switch it’s a good sign that they may possibly do the full on Saturn RPG entry of franchise which was so rare and really fucking good I heard. That games $ tag is scary. Iirc it was about $700-800 for a Saturn copy last year when I looked it up.
No chance of that other than a complete ground-up remake. As far as I know the master copy was lost, which is why the price tag is so steep on remaining copies.

There was that Panzer Dragoon inspired Xbox One launch title, Crimson Dragon.

There's that VR title that's supposed to combine the best of the original Panzer Dragoon games into a single experience, I believe.

Just watched the Fortnite Travis Scott concert.
If you'd told me 10 years ago this is what would be the most popular thing in gaming I'd probably had believed you but man this is some weird shit.

Never heard of him before either. It's a symptom of becoming old I guess. And not having a terrible taste in music.

Horizon Zero Dawn to be a trilogy w/ the second installment to be PS5 exclusive. A hearty grain of salt with any of this, but yeah, should be interesting to see how things come together.

I'm just sitting over here, waiting for that Steam release date this summer ,
Supposedly we're gonna start getting a bunch of next-gen announcements in May, with both console manufacturers doing event(s). And the news cycle should be stretched out this year, so that some announcements won't happen until July.
Fun times ahead.

I'm so starved for any kind of good video game news that I'm dying for some console content or just a random big publisher showing us a bit of what they've got.
