This looks pretty damn good. Blocking QTEs I'm not crazy about, and I'll definitely turn off the motion blur, just like every other game I play, but, daymn, that looks like a fun place to explore.
Oooh. Actual gameplay. Looks phenomenal. Like a weirder BioShock.
I became suspicious when they announced the game ... In 2017? And then in 2018 we were told it was a 2020 game but this looks like everything I was hoping for.

Steam sez 2019 still.

And I want to state that Ment has out-weaseled me by far in this game.

That would be awesome. Rage, Wolfenstein, Doom, Atomic Heart, if it all comes out this year, it looks like a great year for first person shooters
That shit was bonkers! In all the right ways! This was way outside my radar of video game awareness. Thanks for the post. Definitely has a BioShock vibe. Will be paying attention as this one approaches release date.
I see that EA origin access for 70 $ a year gives you access to Anthem, Darksiders, deadspace mass effect for a full year. I think I will have to do this.

Please don't. Please don't encourage the devourer of studios to keep treating games as something they loan to you, for the sole purpose of getting more money out of you than they deserve or would get if they actually just charged you an honest price for work done.
Games-as-a-service is killing the industry. And I don't mean in terms of sales, I mean in terms of quality.

I have never paid for a microtransaction in my life! However this is more like xboxs gamepass or PS plus, its Netflix for video games. Truth is I will pay anthem for a few months and probably move on, I could buy the game or I could get access play it and then play all of deadspace which I have been meaning to do for ages. Throw in mirrors edge, throw in darksiders (curious but wont buy it).
In fact part of the reason id rather rent Anthem then buy it is because based on the demo I think it may be rushed and I believe it may be pushing micro transactions hard to make profit for EA, similar to destiny. So fuck paying for it,
I thought Crackdown 3 just might be the exclusive that propelled me to purchase an Xbox One. Alas, it's not. Last generation I had both the PS3 and Xbox 360. Looks like this generation I'm only going with the PS4. Unless an exclusive comes out for Xbox that is a must. I don't see any of those in the foreseeable future.
I'd hate to have a console that just sat there that wasn't used. I'd get wise and return it or try and sell it.
