Fantasy battles and interesting matchups. Who do you think would win and why?

Match-up -- Winner -- Why

Seguleh First vs. Daseem Ultor -- Seguleh First -- Not entirely sure about this one
Kruppe vs. Tehol (battle of wits) -- Kruppe (?) -- He's the Eel
Kalam vs. Cutter -- Kalam -- Mass amounts of more experience
Iskaral Pust vs. his mule -- The Mule -- Soletaken ascendant (j.k.)
Iskaral Pust's mule vs. Icarium -- Icarium -- I just think he'd win
Quick Ben vs. Tayschrenn -- Tayschrenn -- Though Quick's stand against Icarium makes me wonder
Quick Ben vs. Tattersail (not Silverfox)-- Quick -- Just a hunch
Quick Ben vs. Vorcan -- Quick -- hunch
Dujek vs. Coltaine (in a war) --Dujek -- With armies equal, I think he's got more experience and a better strategist
Dujek vs. Tavore -- Dujek -- Though Tavore is yet to be truly revealed, her wins thus far have been luck and Fid.
Ganoes vs. Errant -- Ganoes -- Not obsessed with regaining power, cooler headed and less likely to make a mistake
Ganoes vs. Tavore (in a war) -- ? -- Ganoes has yet to show his leadership prowess.
Fiddler vs. Hedge -- Fid -- Smarter

I was expecting cross-setting match ups. Haven't we done most of these to death, especially in the March Madness threads?

Just to add my $0.02, I can't see Dujek inspiring his enemies to worship his leadership. And I don't think he's far ahead enough of Coltaine in terms of cunning and acumen to outweigh the effect of Coltaine's Ascendant-level inspiration to his troops.

...wants to see Anasurimbor Kellhus vs. Anomander Rake.
These glories we have raised... they shall not stand.

Gah! There used to be a site which would run contests between cross-setting characters or teams, and then write up the result of a vote as a commentary stream a la a transcript of Celebrity Deathmatch. Contest like Justice League vs. the Simpsons, Sonic the hedgehog vs the Hulk, and other more serious ones. Can anyone remember what it was called? I'm drawing a mental blank.

Actually, I was originally thinking cross-setting, but I then I thought the Malazan universe held plenty of interesting match-ups that everyone could identify with. I'm brand new to the sight so I didn't know this had been done before; sorry.
Cross-setting fantasy match-ups I'd like to see:

Rand Al'thor vs. Richard Rahl
Raistlin vs. Gandalf
the Shrike vs. Zeus (Illium)
Paul Atriedeis vs. Luke Skywalker
the Aiel vs. the Barghast
Martin Silenus vs. Fisher kel Tath
a Slake Moth vs. Gryllen
Quick Ben vs. the Weaver (Bas Lag)
Udinaas vs. Biff (Jesus's childhood friend)

Nope, it wasn't that site -- but cheers, I'll have a look at some of those!

I actually found the site I meant by searching for one of the fights I remembered (Galactus vs. Unicron). It was Comic Book Universe Battles (CBUB): http://www.electricf...bub/cbubbattle/

Rand Al'thor vs. Richard Rahl - Rand would kick Rahl's buttcheeks
Raistlin vs. Gandalf - Depoends on if Raistlin has shed his red robes for the black robes.... but QB to whip them both with one hand behind his back
the Shrike vs. Zeus (Illium)
Paul Atriedeis vs. Luke Skywalker - History shows that Luke won this.... by virtue of box office success....
the Aiel vs. the Barghast..... hmmm, no contest for the Aiel, now if it had been Aiel vs Seguleh........
Martin Silenus vs. Fisher kel Tath
a Slake Moth vs. Gryllen
Quick Ben vs. the Weaver (Bas Lag) .....
Udinaas vs. Biff (Jesus's childhood friend)

Loving this list of cross over battles.... and will only post comment on those I've read about..... ;o)

Of course all this could be better settled if it was based on a Royal Rumble type arrangement based on class/category .......

Winners (In my opinion)

Rand Al'thor vs. Richard Rahl --Draw--Rand loses control when pushed and incinerates everything within a hundred leagues including himself.
Raistlin vs. Gandalf--Raistlin--I mean, he beat the gods, he can handle one meddling old man.
the Shrike vs. Zeus (Illium)--Shrike--Though Zeus is powerful beyond comprehension and, like the Shrike, can control/stop time, the Shrike controls time better, and that's all it needs.
Paul Atriedeis vs. Luke Skywalker--Too close to call.
the Aiel vs. the Barghast--I think the Aiel (haven't read WoT in about 10 yrs but I remember them being really badass)
Martin Silenus vs. Fisher kel Tath--Martin Silenus--He wrote the Hyperion Cantos,i.e. wrote reality into unfolding --though in a fight, Fisher would win no contest.
a Slake Moth vs. Gryllen--Gryllen--Slake Moth's hypnotic wings wouldn't work on the mass amounts of eyes.
Quick Ben vs. the Weaver (Bas Lag)--Quick--Quick could follow the Weaver through dimensional jumps and unleash on it.
Udinaas vs. Biff (Jesus's childhood friend)--Biff--He created sarcasm

Some other fantasy matchups I'd like to see:

Severian (Book of the New Sun) vs. Raul Endymion (Hyperion Cantos)
Uthor Doul (the Scar) vs. Lostara Yil's shadow dance
Scillara vs. Skulldeath (suck off)
Tristen (C.J. Cherryh's Fortress series) vs. Badalle
Rincewind (Disc World) vs. Ron Weasley (Harry Potter)
Alfred (Deathgate Cycle) vs. Korlat
DEATH (Pratchett's) vs. Hood
the Pied Piper (King Rat) vs. D'ivers (any one)
Cowboy Bebop vs. Serenity

Rand Al'thor vs. Richard Rahl -> Rand rigorously ravages Richard repeatedly

Raistlin vs. Gandalf -> "I'm a demigod." "I beat the fuck out of gods!" "I just punched you in the balls and broke your pelvis. What now, string bean?" "OH GOD MY BONES!"

the Shrike vs. Zeus -> Shrike has this, a golden shower is not very effective

Paul Atriedeis vs. Luke Skywalker -> Paul runs for it as while he does have better precognition than Luke, Luke has a FUCKING LASER SWORD

the Aiel vs. the Barghast -> Aiel are ginger, instalose

Martin Silenus vs. Fisher kel Tat -> draw, they're both too busy trying to outdo the other with shagging

a Quake Moth (I didn't know moths played Quake) vs. Gryllen -> GUN TO THE FACE, MAGGOT

Quick Ben vs. Sigourney Weaver -> Ends in sex

Udinaas vs. Biff (Jesus's childhood friend) -> Craig Christ wins

Severian (Book of the New Sun) vs. Raul Endymion (Hyperion Cantos) -> I have no fucking idea

Uthor Doul (the Scar) vs. Lostara Yil's shadow dance -> Doul Uther's the fuck out of her

Scillara vs. Skulldeath (suck off) -> Scillara seems to have the edge with blowjob experience but Skulldeath is the Sodomaster

Tristen (C.J. Cherryh's Fortress series) vs. Badalle -> MAGIC RAP BATTLE means Malnourishedalle wins

Rincewind (Disc World) vs. Ron Weasley (Harry Potter) -> DARING TO COMPARE RINCEWIND TO THAT GINGER CUMBUBBLE IS A HANGING OFFENCE

Alfred (Deathgate Cycle) vs. Korlat -> Ends in sex

DEATH (Pratchett's) vs. Hood -> Ends in infinitely long sex (Death always comes at the end, but which death first?)

the Pied Piper (King Rat) vs. D'ivers (any one) -> D'ivers Blue Whales (HOLY D'IVERS)

Cowboy Bebop vs. Serenity -> Bebop, because I never saw that DVD on a shelf next to Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants and priced lower than it
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.
