so, there's quite a bit left of the day right? I need to go to bed and I just can't wrap my head around anything.

I also wanted to point this out... HP left, the thread with this statement. There were 5 votes on Rashan at this point. It looks to me like he was playing dumb on purpose...and HP was is not dumb.

And there was only 1.5 hours left in the day, with Rashan being our only lynch opportunity. I find this suspect.

And just for information:

Quote

Grischa Timkov – Assassin (Russian) -- Syndicate
Level 0:
Assassinate: night only. kill a target player.
Level 1:
Hard to kill: passive. 1 BP
Level 2:
Consummate Liar: passive. You come up as a spy on finds/CF instead of Syndicate.
Level 3:
Drive by shooting: day only. Limited number of uses (1). Kill a target player.
Level 4:
Harder to kill: passive. 1 extra BP.
Level 5:
Do Not Cross Me: passive. if you submit a kill action and it is cancelled by intervention of a healer or guard, the healer or guard becomes the target of your kill, instead. If you target a guard, you are not considered to be guarded.

This is from last game.. there was a CF hiding mechanic. So that is a possibility.

@ Gamelon you are right, if the scum at this point haven't figured out who eachother is.. then that point is null and void.

EDIT fixed quote tags
EDIT2 Added my line about how much time was left, as that was important to my point.

Day 6 stories.

He entered the ladies’ room of the embassy, pretending to be a plumber. Inside, he unsheathed his sword and opened the stall. She was seated there, half sunk into the bowl of the toilet, white as a ghost, cherry red lips pursed closed around a tie-rip keeping a wad of cloth in her mouth, eyes wide open like a doe. This was no way to kill someone. He turned around and left. She’d die another day, when she could try to resist or run.

~~

He sat there, sharpening the combat knife with no attention to the job, merely repeating what he was taught to do. Tonight, he’d chase down the ninja, he decided, and teach her a lesson about efficiency that she’d remember. He’d probably take that brace of throwing stars. Fucking toys… and then, there’d be the guy who thought so much of himself… time to take that one down a peg, too.

~~

The phone creaked. “We need to discuss some things,” the old man said. “I have decided you are loyal to our nation, and as such, have selected an honourable task for you.”
The sunburnt man did not answer. “What, cat got your tongue?! There will be canings if you do not obey, young man!”
“through hardship comes wisdom,” the other replied, “but I will do as you ask, sir.”

~~

He sat down opposite the old man, the pirate trousers he wore displaying the vine tattoo that crept from his foot to his knee. He slowly removed his sunglasses, breathed on them. “Time to talk,” he said. “Or so I think.”
The girl in the bright pink silk dress translated.
“Decadent pig, what can you offer me?”
She translated the first part as ‘sir.’
“if you can look past your pride, you’ll see there’s information to be traded.”
She faithfully translated.
“What, on how many women you bedded? Back home I just need to snap my fingers!”
She hesitated, then gave up and said it straight.
“I’ve just made out with your secretary. I bet she’d tell me anything I want to know. Instead, I come to you, for honest dealings. So, will we deal, or do I go behind your back?”
She reddened, and stuttered that he had access to the information he wanted, regardless of her boss’ co-operation.
“We’ll talk,” the old man said.

~~

The little grey drone zoomed in on the man in the coarse clothing, landed on a railing nearby, camera zooming in. Suddenly, everything went dark. The man turned, resumed his exercise, and smiled at the place where the drone lay, covered by a heavy orange coat.

~~

He put the hammer away, grabbed his guns. There would be no blurring of the sides tonight, he’d see to it.

~~

She leaned back against the wall where the man with scars sat, polishing and oiling his weaponry, and whistled low. “I have little time,” she said, her eyes closed. “And there is so much to discuss. But I think it is time for my mission as a solo to come to end, and share what I have learned.” He grunted. She was a hard woman, and would be a good ally.

~~

She started the engine. She had enough of it, for now, and needed to clear her mind. There was a museum run by a religious sect nearby, the drive and the peace in that place would do her good. She planned to not return before morning.

~~

“Hello there,” she smiled, her black hair unbound, haltertop displaying her small round breasts to maximum effect. “What is it you are doing?”
The other reddened. “trying out my flying machine,” he said.
“Nice,” she answered. “But you do know you are near diplomatic territory, and that we generally frown on people trying to hear what they shouldn’t, because it may threaten international stability?” She pushed her sunglasses down her nose.
“I’ll go now, miss, sorry-for-the-inconvenience” he said, and he ran away, to a small and battered Toyota.
“Wait, I just want to talk,” she shouted after him, but the car was already running, and not even her running skills could match a car. “Pity,” she whispered. “I liked him.”

Ok thats definitely making me slightly less certain about the Ruse thing

Do you know which character in the scenes this would make D'riss? (if you can do it without revealing obviously)

As there's plenty of time il wait for a defense from D'riss befroe voting as his single mindedness does seem a bit bizarre for syndicate.

Now im off to a pretty ladies house so il see you guys later :shocking:

I assume that you were clarified on an earlier action or you waited for a higher level find/info Omtose? Can you tell us who D'riss is in the scenes?

Ok first good job on the Rashan lynch (though im a bit annoyed it happened while i was away  ) so i am now wondering whether HP was actually scum or rather stupid european .

On the D'riss/ Ruse thing it does seem to be a lot of D'riss' word against Ruses but i am getting the feeling that D'riss does know something so i might be inclined to believe him since one scene is a bit unbelievable at this point.

Right, I think maybe D'riss's consistency is a huge fact here... it's not that scummy at all to stay "locked" on to the same target all game, IMO.

Plenty of good points here. Kind of interesting in HP was a reporter/journalist, too. Not exactly a 'scummy' role, but he could have had two appearances... once when he was naughty and one when he was nice.

Remove Vote

If D'riss is apparently syndicate. One moment.

edit: For some reason I thought I had a vote down.

1) Swordman goes to kill Diplomat Girl but can't for some reason?
2) Knife man with some kind of prepare action?
3) Old man on the phone... maybe a vote rig action again against "sun burned" man?
4) Sunglasses man has a talk with another old man (Japanese? I see the word 'decadent again)... almost looks like a recruit action or lover chat.
5) Robot attempts to spy on orange coat man?
6) Hammer man pulls out the guns... prepare action?
7) Hard woman starts lover chat with scars man?
8) Self protection action from woman with the car?
9) Failed lover communication from haltertop girl to machine guy?

That is some big time info. But it almost looks like you're trying to save Ruse. D'riss has been very consistent in his pressing of Ruse. I am really not sure at all at your reveal.

It would be to easy to reveal myself if I said anything about the scene.

But I will say it happened today. Now I am off, need dinner and sleep.

Shit. I knew he was bad but I wanted him to live until tomorrow. I think you can figure out why. and these short fucking days blow!@!!!!!!!that's two night actions I have missed. I may already be dead.

So this is something you said coming in today... you are telling us you've missed 2 NAs, so you didn't investigate anyone last night. You also said you needed your level... so you didn't do it last night, when we hit Level 5.

And today, I don't see any scenes that could be a 'find' action. I know you can't point yourself out, but I am really unsure about this reveal.

Well, that didn't answer a lot of questions. If I had to guess, it's either the GPS machine being stopped, or perhaps the person calling out the guy with the "Flying Machine" threatening international security? In fact, that person could technically be GPS guy.

@Liosan: It could only be a day find, and the point is that none of the scenes are indicative of a find.

I find that hard to believe given the day scenes I just analyzed. Not one of them looks like a clear find and we've seen plenty of those (someone rummaging through someone's shit or whatnot).

edit: Gamelon clarified for me, yes.
