What did I just miss?

Whatever you missed, you are right on time to wish me sweet dreams, as Í shall be retiring to my triple kingsize bed with the self-destruct-button that every aspiring megalomaniac has to have.

Ciao and catch you all tomorrow :)

The tiny little robot took flight, searching for the GPS signal, and when it had found the car, a black Porsche, it settled down on the bonnet, next to a tied and gagged blonde, her eyes large with fear as she watched a shadowy figure appear, a hammer over his shoulder. He approached, lowered the hammer and put it next to the right front wheel, then loosened the gag. “I’m not the one to be afraid of, little one.” Or rather, he thought, not so little. They’re built big elsewhere. He turned when someone slowly clapped. “And here,” the new arrival said, “I had hoped for an easy one.”
“You’ll have to get through me,” the big man said, face taking on a stony expression, muscles straining his jacket as he lifted the sledgehammer. The other didn’t reply, but crouched and pulled a machine pistol from under his coat, stock still folded. In reply, the other pulled his jacket back, revealing a handgun the size of Monaco. “Seems we both came prepared,” he said, then his eyes widened slightly as he noted the black clad figure leaning against the doorpost, and the brace of throwing stars in its hands. “Oh, go ahead, gentlemen,” it said in a high, girlish voice. “I’m not here to interfere, I have another appointment, elsewhere.” The man with the submachine gun decided the situation was too volatile, and beat a retreat. The ninja followed him. The giant turned to the curly blonde, cut her loose and massaged her wrists. “Yours?” he asked. She nodded. “Care to give me a lifr? I think there is more work waiting for me, and I need to get there, fast.”

The last of the henchmen crumbled into a heap, taken from behind, knifed and silenced. She had had to employ her full arsenal of tricks, but now, she had evaded the clutches of the triade footmen. Time to go for their boss.

Barghast is dead. He was Triade Hired Hand, Chinese Syndicate.

Nobody died in the first scene and the second scene appears to have very little to do with the first. I don't think it was mockra

edit- The blonde was left till someone found her that doesn't sound like it is dependant on someones death.

Oh, addendum to the night scene, which I was reminded of (actions were correctly proceeded):

He took his hand luggage, which contained all of his valuables, out of the rack, then pulled on his coat and a pair of gloves so as not to have to show any of his scars. Poor little thing in the luggage hold had been sifting through all the newspapers and porno mags he could buy at the local kiosk, plus several wet towels, stashed in a sportsbag. As for the other, well, the man with the eyebrows likely spent the night locked up in a police cell. That's what you get when you "leave" a business card at the site where you drunkenly assault an equally drunken businessman, rob him, and run. By the time they would find out that it could never have been him, the night would be over.

As for those figuring out who is who: there is some artistic license in there... I have no time and surely not enough talent to turn every single story for one of 22 x 12 abilities into something that does justice to the appearance PM and the ability, and possible other participants.

If you can guess the type of ability and if the participant(s) know it is him/her/them doing it/being targeted, I am happy.

And now, after much ado, I am off for the night. No vibromassage, alas.

Vote Meanas
and I have pretty much the same proof as everyone else who has been lynched, BTW.
Alright he seems a suspisous person because he seems like hes trying to blend in with everyone else.
Hes not attracting too much attention and not attracting too little.

I think he's referring to the ninja with that question. So maybe the ninja steps in if the blonde is actually in danger, but she wasn't because of the heal/guard from sledgehammer man.

I believe the guy with the sledge is asking if the car is hers and if she would give him a ride don't think the ninja is involved in the conversation.

edit- The ninja followed the attempted killer

So you're saying the ninja is just artistic license in the scene? That seems like a huge stretch, since Tapper said all scenes are involved in actions.

TO me it looks like Sledgehammer guy, was guarding or protecting Porches Girl. Machine gun guy's kill on Porche girl failed because of Sledge hammer guy. All the while ninja man is only following Machine gun guy. SO..if thats correct we have someone that did a find on a killer, and possibly someone that guarded that same killer. (unless, his action was directed at the girl, ie protection move)

I don't suppose anyone wants to step forward and say they did a find on machine gun guy? He looks like possible syndicate to me.

Considering how punitive reveals are in this game (massive team penalties), I'd say it's pretty much forbidden for someone to reveal what action they performed... revealing what happened to you seems OK, but revealing what you did/can do seems like a no-no.

Alright, I'm back and checking in.

The Shadow lynch was an understandable one, and would have liked to see a defense. Not anyone else's fault but his own that he didn't get on to defend.

For those who think I voted for Galain because of "semantics" or "poor word choice', that is not why. It is because it is the SECOND time the same person has been in the same clusterfuck about Alignment/Faction/Nationality. I would think after the first time you fucked up, you'd go to Path-Shaper if you had questions. I let it go the first time, understandable that people make mistakes. As I do. But the second time was just like the first. The lack of knowledge that a find on nationality or faction is NOT adequate to tell Alignment, unless the person doing so has a Find that specifically cuts through Syndicate layers of protection. I mean, look at all the finds and info gains going on in the night scenes. Do you think Syndicate could last long in this atmosphere unless their true Alignment was camouflaged until higher level finds are being used?

Thus, my vote. And, I find it a little bit ridiculous that someone would claim that it was a dumb one at that.

Wasn't saying he didn't have any significance in the scene just not in the last exchange, i would have to agree that he was probably a find or investigation on the submachine gun guy.

3 Votes for Galain ( Emurlahn, Kaschan, Silanah )1 Vote for Gamelon ( Liosan )
1 Vote for Hood's Path ( Omtose )
1 Vote for Meanas ( Spite )
2 Votes for Ruse ( Tellan, D'riss )
1 Vote for Kaschan ( Olar Ethil )
1 Vote for Liosan ( Galayn Lord )
1 Vote for Olar Ethil ( Serc )
1 Vote for Spite ( Mockra )

13 Votes for Korvalain ( Fener, Galayn Lord, Sheltatha Lore, Eloth, Meanas, Mockra, Silanah, Omtose, D'riss, Shadow, Kaschan, Rashan )

11 Votes for Shadow ( Silanah, Gamelon, D'riss, Mockra, Serc, Olar Ethil, Eloth, Galain, Fener, Tellan, Hood's Path )
2 Votes for Galain ( Shadow, Liosan )

Only people we've had confirmed CFs upon are Emur, Shadow, and Korv. Korv didn't vote at all. I can account for a total 3 of 3 Chinese votes. That goes to 5 if you also include Omtose (who Korv called Chinese). We know Chinese had the most votes (yesterday, I think?), but they've now lost a few players so they may fall behind.

Just an FYI, we should definitely not go hunting factions yet. Syndicate are still #1.

She sat there, smoking, and waiting for the syndicate to appear with their hostage. She and her men had prepared a nice little ambush. Use thieves to catch thieves, a western proverb said. Assfuckers got something right, sometimes. She spun the barrel of her revolver, and when the SUV stopped, she ran out of cover, shooting. Her back-up never appeared, and while she downed four syndicate hirelings, she got shot in the stomach by a burst of rifle fire.

Shadow is dead, she was Ba Leng, a Chinese spy.

It is now night.

Well, Shadow was not scum at all. Seriously didn't expect that. I was sure I was onto something there..my bad, Shadow. Unless you had some sort of CF disguising ability a la the Syndicate master in the last game (and the fact that Shadow was waiting for the Syndicate to arrive with a hostage [tricksy arcrobat woman with weird blade] EDIT - sorry read it wrong, ignore this bracket), then I guess that's a win for us. But that's a shit-ton of WIFOM so I won't go there.

Onto other things. Barghast got nightkilled I see . Which I think is interesting, and not particularly surprising, considering this post by Omtose on Day 3:

I see no point in acknowledging his presence otherwise.

Strange that he doesn't mention guarding or hindering or whatever, just night killing...and he is one of three people (others being Game and GL) who advocate ignoring him. Then again, he's apparently Chinese, so the ignoring is more significant than the night-killing comment...Also, the fact that both Emurlahn and Shadow CF'd the same name could point to them being the 1 person-2 alt mechanic, but considering Shadow voted for Emurlahn, it's less likely in my mind (and the fact that there's over 400 possible combinations makes me skeptical we found the right one). It could also be a mechanic of the Chinese, that they all CF as La Beng, Chinese Spy. Rather ridiculous I know, but that's the only other possibility I can think of.Also, GL continuing to trash my case (albeit likely wrong) despite producing anything better, and persisting in his lack-of-evidence vote on Meanas is not making him look any more innocent in my eyes...

that's pretty obvious, Mockra. I think Shadow was the only one stupid enough to go for a faction--presumably, because he had some team-specific info.

atm, i'd like to take a look at the night scenes and fgure out who we think might be Syndicate in those.
