FYI, that would put it at D'riss and/or Korbas. Neither were on during the lynch and I think the case on Barghast wasn't really in play when D'riss left (and clearly not when Korbas was on, ages ago).

lol... thanks Killers...

Why in the Hell would they Kill Barghast?

That leads me to believe that he was a predestined kill and that 1 or both of the Killers weren't around at Lynch time.

Valid point. That pretty much puts the focus on only a couple of people, though, and that would be an EXCELLENT ploy if the killers were actually online.... frame someone offline.

It would be an excellent play.. but I don't the killers would think that quick on their feet when we had a Galain or HP lynch going and 5 minutes left before lynch? I suppose it's possible.. but why Kill an inno, to set up another inno... when you can just role with the set up thats already sitting there for you? Granted, the Barghy speculation did come up later and there are 0 hr nights.... Still I feel inclined to think it was a predetermined kill that was unable to be changed in time.

Ok, I'm off to watch the footy. You may be modless for a while until Bent comes back.

Don't forget to send us lots of lovely messages for spoilers. We love laughing at your angst.

Here is what I see:

HP votes Galain.

Hours later.

Korbas Votes Galain
2 Minutes Later I vote Galain, claim xpost with Korbas.
The same time I claimed xpost (1 minute after my post), Eloth votes Galain, and claims xpost with Korbas and Myself.

My conclusions:
I did not vote based on what Korbas did.
Eloth did not vote based off what I did.
I doubt Eloth voted based off what Korbas did.

Then Eloth RV'ed and voted for Korbas.

The only two options I see happening, is HP voting, and one of us being his symp, or just a coincidence.

If Korbas is a scum leader, then we'd be indicating that he believed either Barghast or Eloth is a symp, based upon this post from the now-exonerated Barghast. It seems highly unlikely that Korbas would leave a kill order on someone that could be one of his symps before he leaves for the day. It *seems* unlikely that Eloth would vote Korbas and then leave for the day is Eloth is a symp, too.

Based upon that, I'm putting Korbas at PI.

I realize people hate PI'ing other players, but the only other option that puts Korbas as scummy, IMO, would be if he were a symp of mine (from your POV) but I know (from my POV) that I am not scum, so I have to discount it (feel free to explore it if you wish).

So really, while it could be a good play, I do agree that it would be better to just let the game unfold and kill off someone not making any waves.

Vote D'riss

Amusingly, if D'riss really is scum, the* he's actually PI'd me for voting me before he left.

edit: then*

This actually makes sense, and while I am not going to PI Korbas as you have ( because I am not convinced you are inno) though,... the idea that he would say on thread that Barghy could be his symp, and then barghy ends up dead doesn't seem to mesh real well. So I guess at this point, if we lynched you, and you came back inno, it would point towards Korbas being inno. But i'd need you dead to make that connection ;)

I am leaning towards D'riss at this point. But I am not going to vote until we hear some other thoughts on that wild end of day. I am gonna go back now and look at it as well.

Why do one of Bargy or Eloth HAVE be a symp? I don't see the logic here. How could a symp have timed his vote with his masters to appear to crosspost? Unless he was insanely quick in following his master, which would (and did) look insanely suspicious. The reason why I originally thought the three of them looked scummy is because they jumped onto a weak case. The fact that they did it simultaneously just made it look like there might be some symp-master interplay in the mix there somewhere. What's to say Korbas wasnt scum trying to pick up steam on an easy looking lynch?

This looks like a glaring attempt at a symp trying to PI his master, the logic you're using there is pretty flawed.

vote Korbas

Edit - should have chose the correct post, this is meant at what HP said.

And what's your opinion on why Barghast was killed if Korbas may have thought Barghast was a symp based on the voting behavior?

huh? Like I said.. that logic is based on IF Hood's Path is Inno.. Thats a pretty big stipulation as He did start off the voting that started the Galain train. HP is still a suspect in my Eyes. I'm just saying that if we lynch HP and he comes up inno, imo Korbas is then likely inno. right now I am teetering between HP, Korbas, and D'riss. and THIS logic is based upon the fact that Barghy was killed by mistake..... which might be a reach because after a reread, the barghy speculation didn't come up until AFTER the lynch happened, and with 0 hr nights. whatever order was in, had to be taken.

While this does sound reasonable, we have to make two big commitments
1) We believe you
2) We PI Korbas

And I don't know if I'm willing to do that, right this minute.

I'm currently on a re-read of some stuff
And btw, I don't know how many people are still around, but I would like sometime to speculate the game setup. I don't know how D-Day looks like, but its something we should be aware sooner than later.

Wasn't on during the lynch because I have school, imagine that. As for voting for Galain earlier, I voted to lynch because of his drunkeness.

I'd say the people who are making all the accusations would be the meats, have to go back and look though.

In the meantime, where's the best place for a burger? fastfood of course

How about fries? again, fastfood

I'd say Bbops for the burger and either Bbops for the fries since you can get them with cheese. Or McDonalds, their fries kick ass with a little salt.

And fast food is gross, just thinking about that stuff makes me sick. Almost regret stop eating it, though.

Off to class again, peace.

They could be. I dont see how a master and a symp could have set that up. Or Bargy was a symp he would have had to have seen Korbas's vote, wrote his own vote and posted all in under a minute. My point is that the crossposting has nothing to do with Korbas's possible innocence - he could have been a killer jumping onto what looked like an easy lynch and had the bad luck to have two others crosspost with him.

Why would Korbas think Bargy was his symp? There isnt much interaction between them that I've seen and Korbas didnt post after he put down his vote. If Bargy was killed because one or more killers weren't online (assuming this isnt all an elaborate play by the scum) then his kill would have been in before any of the things that might have made a symp happened, including the crossposts.

Why would Hp being inno mean Korbas is inno? HP's claim that he's regarding Korbas as inno, is only using half the motives a killer might have and looks a lot like a symp trying to cover up his master's fuckup. Hence the vote, so HP's CF wouldnt really affect Korbas's innocence. And if HP is just an inno using faulty reasoning, then it still doesnt change the fact that Korbas could be a killer. It would make my case against him a lot weaker, since I'm voting because of HP's PI claim, but there's no way to tell if HP is an inno or a symp based on his CF...

Half the thread asked Bargy why he removed his vote, and conversation about a possible Bargy lynch came up almost immediately after the hammer, it's pretty safe to say that if both scum were online they would have realised that Bargy was going to be under a lot of pressure.

bah i'm nt making myself clear... when I say if HP comes back inno.. I mean true inno. but as there are symps, we'll never know that. I was speaking absolute terms. (which we don't have) what it boils down to is that I followed his logic, but we'll never know for certain because we'll never know for certain if HP is inno. He seems to be playing the "When I come up inno" card a lot and even mentioned that we shouldn't consider him a symp when he gets lynched, because everyone was voting him as leader...which I thought was odd at the time.

I once got lynched in a game as a townie and the ENTIRE rest of the game had people trying to debate whether or not I was a member of the town or the scum. The scum theory was so prevalent, the real scum got away with it and won.

I was merely trying to stave that kind of nonsense off, but as usual, my comments get put under an electron microscope.

For the record, I was fully prepared to vote myself off to avoid a stalled lynch if that came to pass.
