Didn't know if anyone was interested in becoming Facebook friends? I'm on there a lot more than here, but I still want to keep in touch with a lot of you.

There's an entire Malazan group you can follow if you want, last I checked... a year ago or so... it had some 1000 members maybe.

Other than that Face-book is a soul sucking piece of shit used to kill your productivity and allow annoying people you barely know to pester you with a hundred thousand bullshit invites and other useless shit.

But at this moment in my life, I have a lot of free time, so FB is a better way to keep in touch with my friends and family than anything I can come up with. :Urb:
(And yes, it's hard to stay in touch with my friends who work, have school, and live very far away, so having face-time with them isn't an option... unfortunately. :<)

IMO.

I find disavowing anyone who plays those crappy games like Farmville, culling my friends list and just ignoring people I don't want to talk to makes it a rather pleasant, non-soul-destroying place. Like MSN, but not quite as good.

I dropped most games I played there, but I kinda want to stick to Mafia Wars.

Also, Bejeweled Blitz. A bit. I suck at it anyway.

Yeah i just cant be arsed with most of the games on facebook, tried some of the others a few times but Bejewelled is the only one i play a lot (seriously a lot if i count up my medals im probably up to a few days.. :S)

Mafia wars is evil. I'm at something like level 517. It's not much fun, it takes no skill or even blind chance, it's just click click click hey I finished that job. Can't stop playing it though, but at least I am now only playing it on one account.

Probably a fictional account to get 500 people in your mafia without having a bloated friend base on your real one...

I kind of like facebook, as someone who has moved around a bit and emigrated it's convenient to see what family and friends are up to, even if some of them are obsessive status-updaters to a slightly cringe-worthy level.

I have a rule that I only add people I've met in the flesh though. Being an internet nerd and member of many forums, it's a necessary rule.

Yep i basically just use Facebook to play bejewelled or work out when/where people are going out.

I'm on and I probably use it far too much. I chat to a couple of Malazan People on there, mostly Brood, and receiving snarky comments from Cougar. I use it as an excellent place to organise things and upload pictures but I never bother with the Farm crap or anything...

I'm on it. I don't do the games much at all, and I'm not big on chatting, but I use it to keep track of friends (IRL and online friends) and relatives, as well as post updates and share links.

now im not at work I can make a full post.

I'm on it, though the account I registered ages ago with my macros at gmail account isn't in use, thought random people who I dont know still try to add me on it, I sometimes figure they're malazanites.
If you did try to add me and I ignored you, I wasnt being rude, the email addy just is wrong.

For actual facebook, easy way to keep up with people, especially as I don't be home much at the minute.
