I got lazy and didn't cut it for 2 yrs. I cut it myself usually every 2weeks or so to keep it nice and tight. I hadn't had it that long since high school(95-99).

I can; never figure out how people cut their own hair.

Yah that's how I do it, and get my sister to clean up the back.

P.S. I had > 0 connections made, so I consider this a total success. Humiliation averted!

Hello buddies. Terez (somewhat unwittingly) has -- like the fabled Blue Fairy -- convinced me to become a real boy. So I'm offering free subscriptions to both my Facebook and Twitter feeds. In other words, feel free to connect w/ me on both or either.

FB: https://www.facebook.com/worrywort where you can see I look like the dad on The Royle Family, but with less joie de vivre.
Twitter: https://twitter.com/MmmCheckPlease which will prove once and for all -- perhaps to your horror -- that I really do reserve my A-material for this very board.

If you don't want to, that's okay too. But you can also use these links to swing by quickly and insult me in ways that you can't do here cuz of board rules.

I'm very tempted to FB friend you but I am afraid that the reality will be too disappointing.

Oh there's no doubt I would be. But isn't being disappointed in every single way its own kind of noteworthy? How often does one get to experience that?

I gave actual consideration to adding people from here to my FB but i'm concerned that the shenanigans would spill over into my personal life and that thought is terrifying. I prefer to keep it contained to the Phoenix Inn and call it good. I did just join the FB Malazan page but that's mostly for my own morbid entertainment.

You also risk getting a lot of stupid thrown at you. There's a lot of anti feminist, anti tumbler, anti sjw ( i really didn't think that term was used outside of gamergate circles) turning up in my feed these days.

I have noticed this too. Why do people hate Tumblr? It's just a blogging platform

I don't know. I figure some people feel threatened by the idea that how they behave might genuinely be hurtful to others. Tumblr has become the sort of enemy number one for those people. Which is really strange as my impression is that tumblr is everything, but mostly porn.

It's an oddity. There are aspects of Tumblr who have a tendency to be offended by absolutely everything and I think that's the image people have of it - however on a lot of occasions I agree with what Morgoth said and people just don't like having problems with their behaviour pointed out. I use it, the Malazan tag has a nice bunch of people in it, and there is some really in depth stuff in the Tolkien tags too. It's just another site I find geeky things on.

Very vocal aspects with the mentality of wolves gone mad with hunger. I think the reason a lot of people are openly disdainful of those elements is that those elements tend towards extremism. As for Tumblr, I kind of see it as the /b/ of our times. I went on /b/ once. It was deeply unpleasant.
