Hi all,

Thought struck me last night while on a re-read of DG... yes I know this is the ROCG side... but the question deals with stuff that is revealed in this book as well as the info obtained from GOTM:

Can't figure out the spoiler bits

/spoiler

Topper has Andi Blood - He tells this to Paran in GOTM
Topper can use KG - He uses this in the Imperial Warren with the agents that come in
Topper when speaking with the CG in the Imperial Warren was made an offer to join the house of chains and he could choose a card or a new one could be fashioned for him... to which he replies one already had been doen in the past...

/spoiler

Now the questions are:
Which card was it?
Does this also mean that there is a chance that he is also extremely old and/or ascendant of some kind?
Is Topper the one that is refered to in the book when Heuk opens KG as being the one who could in the past unleash KG?

I am SO due for an RCG reread because i have only the foggiest recollection of all this, but i suspect Topper is referring to other attempts at new houses that didn't work out.

Heuk's book is probably a ref to Draconus given how things play out.

- Abyss, planning for that reread...

Topper does give that vibe of being older than he seems because of his rantings about how he's had tons of names, etc etc, but I don't think he's a big-time ascendant or any such. He's a strong mage so he could easily be a few hundred years old, and he was part of the empire early on so that itself puts him at around 100, and I think this is the cause of his musings.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Well the Andi blood would make him longer lived so I'd think he may have been around before then... even Tatersail was around 100 years before the Emperor took Mocks Hold.... so yeah maybe not ascended, but its the card having been made for him that gets me thinking... will try find the exact quote
