Don't forget Mockra too. I personally think the connections Atrahal and Silanah have made to be kind of, well, crap. Mockra has been tied to Kas simply because he requested that people move off the numbers speculation, which was seen by Atrahal as telling Kas to shut his mouth before he comes out with any more stupid. Serc was tied for questioning both votes. Silanah's reaction to me is much more indicative of teams than those three. Doesn't mean they aren't, mind, but I find it more likely.

I thought the "shut your mouth" thing was a bit of nothing tbh. I didn't really pick up anything on Mockra during the read, though maybe because I was focused elsewhere.

Oh, it was, but it was touted as something for quite a while, which was more than a little odd.

Indeed. Atrahal went to some serious pains to defend his arguments with logical fallacies and WIFOM, which is a bit odd considering they're supposed to be just feelings on Day One. Lack of any concrete evidence and all that. And Silanah jumped in remarkably quick. I can honestly say I don't know if Kaschan is on my team or not, but if someone wants to go to those pains to lynch him...

I'm about a bit. Not a lot to add.
Except, Serc, seeing as how there seems to be an essence of "Atrahal + Sil vs Serc + Kaschan" going on, what are your thoughts on Kaschan at this point in time?

Or, more importantly, what will the Barça vs Arça scoreline be?

Not much of a sports man, I'm afraid
At the moment, I don't know. Kaschan hasn't exactly been playing top form, with quite a few silly comments out there, but then, being loud and abrasive is a pretty good strategy for getting reactions. I don't know whether he's on my team or not, but at this point, there's most likely only a few people who know the teams, those few being the leaders. And Atrahal isn't my leader. He's aggressive when backed into a corner, and Silanah following his vote makes me reasonably happy with voting for him. I'm pretty ambivalent about Kaschan, honestly, while he hasn't outright attacked my leader, he doesn't show any signs of noticing them at all either. If he's on my team, that's good play, if not, so be it. I'd rather get rid of someone baying for blood on Day One with a very poor case. A number of people are capable of taking over a game like that here.

I think what you are all missing here in your ridiculous 7 pages of puffery and nonsense about 5+5+5+1 and Kash+ Serc vs. Sil + Arhrhalartharhal, is my stellar case on Mockra which I will now vote on.
vote Mockra
clearly he is a leader.
now if we are done being stupid, I am going to go play with my huge breasts. out in the woods. alone. by myself. with no one around. or within shouting distance.

And also to add another wtf.
So... does this mean that Atrahal wasn't a leader? Or do we get nothing in the CF whether they are leader or not?

As far as I can tell, these are the only posts of Korlat's. Usually I would think that this kind of behaviour was an attempt to distract from a train... but now I don't know. If Atrahal wasn't a leader, then that makes no sense. Just Korlat being a donkey's cock.
Care to explain the blasé attitude, Korlat?

Holy crap. Actual content on day one? I think we've stepped off the horror set and straight into Bizarro world.
Ok, so most of the thread is Atrahal fighting with Kaschan and people popping in from both sides. I didn't really 'get' the argument when it started and after that it degenerated into an argument about the argument with lots of connections being made by anyone who takes sides.
I think Kas is right in that noone who plays here is an idiot, people aren't going to quickly jump after their leader's vote. We can still look at the trains to try spot leaders, but as someone mentioned, trains being derailed or picking up suddenly around L-half are more likely indicators. The key thing to remember in a three faction game is it takes two factions to lynch any one person, no leader will risk exposing themselves unless they know they enough people who aren't in their faction on the train already.
I don't agree with Kas's assessment of the numbers though. There is a lot of evidence pointing to a single person faction over a four person factions, I'm not sure why he keeps trying to bring it back up. The fact that all the other factions share a win condition, implies that there is only one mystery faction. Unless there are faction leaders withing the mystery factions that also need to be eliminated. Two two man factions each with a leader seems a little ridiculous. Having a single, equally sized faction with easier win conditions (assassination rather than majority) seems pretty unfair, so a one person faction definitely seems the case and would fit with the theme. Plus Tellan has the right idea when he points out the numbers should be 16 or 19.
Anyway, so I'm not struck either way by the arguments of Kas or 'hal alone. I do agree though that Silanah's baseless seeming vote on Kas is probably the most suspicious thing that's happened today. That said it's pretty weak, and it's not exactly hard to fake symp someone. Not sure why someone would want to do that so early in the game, but it's a thought. Still, for a day one case, voting Atrahal has enough merit, altough he's picked up a couple of votes already, so I'll hold off for the time being.
Edit - crosspost with the modkill. WTF?

It was 3-3 Atrahal-Kaschan, so if no CF means not leader, maybe he was trying to protect Kaschan. Or he was just being funny, but for this he came about 250 posts too late.
I'm still waiting on some sort of mod confirmation on the CF or lack thereof. A merc game without CF is a never-ending string of day ones which I'm not too excited about.
