Tapper's been known to implode in the past when he drew a good role, but I've never seen him straight up ask for a modkill for it. Surely he hasn't done something like accidentally revealed info he didn't mean to?
You guys are posting demons. Usually I'm the top poster but I can't even compete today!
I want to see time counts and whatnot before I even consider a vote.

THere's something around 9 hours left, 3 votes on Kas, couple more spattered here and there - just check the last page.

Even though this is Merc, hard to see anyone else (other than Kas) getting votes at this point, which is kind of too bad because I have a personal policy of not wanting to lynch high posters early on. You know 3-4 days from now, if Kaschan is lynched, we're going to have players still alive in the game that are still not up to his current post count.
Wish we had a better alternative, but my eyes started to swim trying to understand the intricacies of the last few pages of arguments.

vote Kaschan
For the reasons I repeated ad nauseum.
I kept wondering if after the modkill it was still a good idea to lynch, but at this point it seems the modkill will give us no information, and information gathering is the point of the early game

And with this I'm off to bed, and I won't be back before day time out (hence my vote).

Definitely, considering that we know we will get a CF out of it, too. Be good to see just what info we will get in the CF (presumably faction and whether or not 'twas a leader, hopefully role name too)

Rashan will likely be back on before the deadline but only just barely if the lynch timer goes all the way to the end of the timer.
For now, out.

It's been a long day, but I'm here for half an hour or so.
Liosan's play has been weak-sauce so far. You don't pussy around with an "Ooh, I'm not convinced by anything" on day 1, you grab the game by the balls and try to make something happen if there's nothing to convince you. Those long, wishy-washy posts with no conclusion are horrific.

Vote Liosan
If he's not on my team, great. If he is on my team, then he's not being at all useful and should start to pull his finger out.

Le sigh. Noone around in my (admittedly small) posting window, it seems.
I'm not voting for Kaschan - the sooner we stop jumping on the first person to poke their head above the battlements, the better.

Well, that was quite the slog through of reading. Ironically, I came out of that thinking Kaschan made more sense and I was all ready to vote Atrahal. Taaaappppeeeeeerrrr!~!~!~!
Contrary to Kalse's assertion about grabbing the game by the breasts (my preference to balls), I have to admit I tend to do what Kaschan called "pussy-footing around" when it comes to merc games. At least in the early goings. Because I always second guess myself and worry that the person who I'm voting for is actually on my team. And in this game especially, with the leader targeting a team member, a lynch plus an NK would knock our team down in a hurry.
However,
although I agree with Kalse's sentiment about jumping on big posters, I think a lynch is better than no lynch, in which case Kas is the most likely possibility. I'll be around until deadline to cast my vote, and if someone wants to talk.

I'm here, but I wasn't 20 mins ago.
Here's my standpoint. There are basically 3 teams (not counting the mystery player). We can pretty much guarantee that Atrahal and Kaschan were not on the same team, either both being symps or following leaders or whatever. If Atrahal was on my team, it's in my best interests to lynch Kaschan and make it "more even" but if Kaschan is on my team, it's in my best interests to not lynch him. The third point would be, of course, if I am not on either team, then it's definitely best for me to lynch Kaschan and move my team into 1st place. Starting out an extra member is going to be huge considering I suspect all three teams are going to lose a member tonight unless a faction symp unluckily cancels out an opponent faction leader's kill tonight.

So, with that in mind, even if Kaschan is on my team, it may actually be overall better for me to lynch him, simply because reluctance to lynch him at this point may signal to other factions that I'm on his team.
Considering all of that, I don't think there's any particular reason to NOT lynch him other than to keep a high poster in the game. Lynching him is the "safest" move today. For me, for my leader, and for everyone else, really.

Vote Kaschan
The only 'definite' reason I can see someone wouldn't lynch Kaschan is that he is their leader. I doubt he's a leader.

Well, that's the interesting question - will any leaders successfully draw a night action from another team.
But yeah, it's about 1/3 chance that I'll be voting for my own teammate. At 2/3's of a chance he isn't on my team, that's better than vegas odds at any rate.
