Video.
I could have sworn that the Defenderer just published a tell-all about how much she hates McCain.
I call this trope. Way to break the fourth wall, teabaggers.

Dear god. "We do not condone violence but we're not going to stop the fight" yeah, that didn't sound like a unofficial allowance to escalate at all.
American Malazites, please tell me that the Republicans have other presidential candidates than Palin. Palin is everywhere in the media but I don't see any sane counter part to hear from the republican party.

Sarah Palin will never win an election for President of the United States of America. She destroyed any chance McCain had for a chance to win. In the end, More than 50% of Americans realized how unbelievably unprepared for Vice Presidency Palin was, let alone being President.
There are about 20-25% of people within the Republican party that would vote for her over other Republican candidates, let alone in the nation on the national scale. Palin is scarily unprepared for anything, and amazingly enough the vast majority of this country has recognized this. The media did it's job there.
John McCain is a joke. He was a "maverick" that once crossed party divides to only become a publicly staunch conservative when he needed to assert his Republican credentials.
Failure. And, I'll admit it's unintentional failure, but yet negligent failure nonetheless.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

What annoys me the most about all the coverage Palin gets, isn't that she says a lot of stupid shit, it's the fact that she quit midterm in her time as Governor, because she was about to be investigated for corruption/nepotism... this woman should not be encouraged, she should not be heard, she should be shunned.
Ugh, she makes me so angry.

More than half of America agrees with you, Apt. Wish it were more.

You mean like how a Catholic will never win an election for president?
If the Party decides she will be a presidential candidate, she will be, and with the machine going full bore I wouldn't be surprised she wins the nomination (over my bruised and angrily voting finger) and gets near contention for the office. Maybe not the next election, but 2016? so long as she doesn't try in 2012 and fail horribly, its not so far fetched.
oh, and Apt, the investigation had already started.

The difference between a religious or ethnic group as opposed to someone who is abominably unprepared is vast. Also, I didn't say she couldn't win her nomination. I don't think she could, but I wouldn't say it's beyond the realm of possibility the Republicans would do it. She didn't even come close to winning the C-Pac straw vote (like that means anything), but every poll I've seen puts her in the 25-33% range with other named Republican candidates.

The machine got Bush elected, twice. I think it's well enough greased to get Palin in the door as well. Unfortunately, there's a bit of a lack of solid candidates in the Republican Party at the moment.

The Machine does not like Palin. She is, in actuality, a maverick within her own party, funnily enough. She doesn't fall in line.

Eh, alright. a Not-so-good comparison.
But we've elected the abominably unprepared before though. You might be a bit young, but I remember Ronald McDonald. With horror.

How old are you? Did you serve in the Vietnam war also? Did colour really exist before they invented colour televisions?
I can barely remember Bush sr.

Born in 1974 baby. And technically, I did serve in the Vietnam war. just the end bit... with the leaving.
And maybe I'm a big exception to the rule, but I'd sit and watch the news and shows with daddy in the 80s. He hated the hell out of the man (staunch, old school republican), so some of that certainly carried over, but I think back and it was scary stuff, him being in charge. Not old enough to know shit at the outset of his presidency, but the fool was in for eight years. (and its not like Bush 1 was anything but a continuation of those years)
back to the start: I just flipped on the news and saw that Ann Coulter was apparently also there. HOOOOOOOO... I guess black holes can cancel each other out?

I remember Reagan too, but I was raised to see him as a role model (folks were staunchly conservative - still are).
What's scary about this to me is that the RNC is apparently using Palin to bolster McCain's risky campaign. Or someone...the real risk is against another Republican - a teabagger to pit against the 'moderate' McCain (he hasn't really been a moderate in years) - so I'm not sure if it's the RNC or simple an Arizona outfit that's scared of losing their seniority in the Senate. The question that arises is, wtf did they give her? She has publicly voiced her discontent with the McCain campaign in 2008. It's just a little bit too much cognitive dissonance to take in.

1. Some scary stuff.
2. she probably forgot about doing that and they offered her like a hundred grand or something ridiculous. As for who paid, I dunno. She does owe mccain though, (what, with going from corrupt backwater communist hunter to corrupt, backwater folk hero) so it could have even been his campaign people.

There are no presidential hopefuls on the Republican side who are preferable to Sarah Palin. And that's not a compliment. It's easy to complain that Democrats are lacking strong progressives as they've slid right in the wake of Reagan. It's a sad, sad truth. But Republicans have slid off the political spectrum almost entirely...they have become regressive near-anarchists to counter the few but important progressive strides post-WWII. Well, to be more accurate, they are politicians who've taken on a near-anarchist mantle regardless of what they actually believe (most likely hold no beliefs, other than opportunism). But the Tea Bagger types who enjoy this rhetoric are a minority in America...not sure if they are a minority among registered Republicans though. I'm guessing that the young, moderate right is more closely reflected in Meghan McCain, but there's plenty of religious right wingnuts adopting neo-con worldviews in some warped, rotting hybrid species.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Well it is apparent that I maybe the only Conservative here, but most of us dont care who wins in 2012, we are waiting with our guns for the war to start, and then everything will change. And it will be change that everyone can believe in not just the Communists.

Ah, are you sure liberals aren't Nazis? Perhaps we are the miraculously impossible fascist-socialists?
And to what war do you refer?

I'm sorry if I'm doing you an injustice here, but I don't know you well enough to know whether this is a parody of Nic or your actual opinions.

Did Nico make a new account?
I think this 'war' will be the one where the liberosocifacistcommunfagathiest crowd shoot the conservosociopathicfacistclosetcase crowd when they try and rise up to 'put america on the right path'
