Don't see the point in posting about the "Lets all vote night" approach. That tactic is very rarely beneficial to the RIs. After all, the point of the game is a small team with an advantage in NAs, against the larger team, with an advantage in numbers who can lynch to win. Voting night 9 times is just going to mean the RI lose the majority.

It keeps us in the dark completely, since we'll get no information, and they'll get whatever information they get from NAs, so they have the information advantage too, so I dislike that reasoning aswell.

Voting night is just giving them the advantage, because that is where the small team has the advantage over the large in mafia.

So, suggesting a night vote seems to be stupid. Not really scummy, since I doubt anyone would hope that the innos would actually agree to it. Just some rather odd speculation, whcih seems not to have been thought through.

Except that in self-voting, while you may help the 'RIs at large' you are not helping yourself because you'll be lynched. All you're doing is putting your fate in the hands of the rest of the team!

Out of curiosity, how could we possibly manage to lynch an Inquisitor? We can lynch whomever we want and unless I'm very much mistaken we would never kill an inquisitor, so in that regard we can hunt for the two factions with abandon.

I would guess that we wouldn't be able to lynch them. Though, if they only stop inquisition lynches, any lynch they stop is going to attract NAs anyhow.

Hmm hadnt considered that point about lynching inquisitors, good point. I doubt that theyd just save inquisitors though. Probably depends a bit on just how much info they get whether its just faction or a name/ability.

I noticed that about the inquisition as well. Would draw atention for NK's.. but depending on how the CF is handled before/after the inquisition decision. i see no reason why the inquisition would let a lynch on their own team go through, i doubt they can recruit and their number is probably finite.

So, the Inquisition thing...I can't see it drawing votes, because the two factions also have to consider that it's one of their own. The Inquisition isn't going to necessarily let Night/Day Watch lynches go through either. Depends on how much each faction knows regards their own members. Plus, the Inquisition may not have power over their own team's lynches.

I think that, until we get a lynch through and a day/night cycle out of the way, we won't be sure where to go at all. GK's response was basically: innos are screwed, stop thinking about how to win 'cuz you can't.
Which is a piss-poor reply. The inno faction should always have an equivalent method of winning the game to any other faction. I'm not complaining about imbalance or anything, rather thinking that it's stupid to put in an inno VC if it's nigh-unattainable. Just outright state that we practically can't win and let us get on with it. XD

That being said, I still think the innos should play to win: we support the Inquisition as much as possible. Now, if there are 2 kills a night, and 2 recruits, that's going to make lynching any innos very bad. Because we don't want to thin our ranks too much elsewise the Inquisition won't make it to day 10. :S
