Never trust the BBC weather forecast - it's rubbish.

Whoah! Not trust something from the BBC? Was that just then the sound of the English way of life crashing down around their ears? :p

It's forecast to be around 29 degrees C on Saturday and that's warm enough for anyone :(

True, that's getting towards decent weather. Enjoy. :p

EDIT: doesn't England shut down when the temperature gets over like 24 degrees anyway? I heard that everyone flocks to pools, fountains, dirty stone-covered beaches etc and also the train tracks warp ...

@Hetan - I don't know what Cougar is planning, but that would probably work well too :(

Great, I'll take my umbrella.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Seems all that's needed to defeat the British is to blow hot air on them, and they'll all die of heatstroke. :p

Here's the current situation :-

So - station run -

Illy
Macros
Sir T
Toby

Mezla - Cougar's pride and joy :)

Imperial Historian - possibly making his own way from Cambridge.
Dag - possibly making her own way from Cambridge.
Mr & Mrs Paleman - making their own way from the station.

Cougar and Stone Monkey arriving by car
Fid - ditto
Pathos - ditto
Brood - ditto with Baudin

Morgy and Anomander - staying with us on Friday night

Those arriving by train - are you all expecting to get to the station for 12.30-ish?
Anyone who thinks they will be later than that - can you post here please?

Good news! I recently bought a Dacia Sandero appear to be losing my voice at the moment, so I'll hardly be talking!

You two should sit together. It will be like a yin-yang of conversational minimalism. Then you can snuggle and the yin-yang image can take on other meanings ... :)

If that's when I need to be there then I'll plan accordingly. Should there be some delay I can call/txt you well in advance.

You are supposed to be coming on the coach from Gatwick?
I am expecting to pick you up on Friday 9th with Morgoth at Trumpington Park and Ride at around 12.30 ish.:) If there's any change to this I am sure you or Morgy will let me know .

Fnarrr, Trumpington!

I'll be arriving at Hetan and Mal's at around 12noon with luck, I have to drop a mate off at the station for c.12.30 who is cadging a lift. I've agreed to take Mezla and Macros in 'my pride and joy' which I assume means my car, there are two seats left, I do not have a spacious boot though so we need another car.

er... that would be me then :)

I'll pick up as well at 12.30, but if anyone is arriving later (1.30) then I could also pick up Dag at the same time and maybe Dan could get a lift with the 12.30 pick-up?

@Hetan, yes that sounds right. Good to know the station name too.

T-minus 7 hours until my flight. So excited!
