Have you told 'Mandy that? because I wouldn't want him to get upset about it, him being a shrinking violet and all..

Oh he knows. All Canucks were at the meeting last Wednesday where we decided this. We also decided to annex Alaska and not tell anyone about it.

Damn right, I never once heard Mal say "Aboot".

"Aboat", on the other hand ... :)

Once again sincerest thanks and regards to mine hosts Mal and Hetan, 6 stars out of 5 for hospitality and putting up with drunk smartarse Aussies. They already had extensive training in putting up with drunk smartarse Poms, Paddys and Vikings.

I'm considering just avoiding the word entirely during my trip.

With regards to travel arrangements... I am assuming that there will be trains that i can catch from edinburgh or maidenhead? And i remember something about there maybe being a bit of floor space available?

Here's the link for the rail network.

I usually pick up at Cambridge Station for those who are arriving by train at around 12.30 and if Cougar is still driving his pride and joy, I may be able to get him to do the same.

There is a it of floor space with your name on it so no worries there. Failing that you can always throw one of the dogs out of it's basket :o

I'll do the same as I did last year and collect some of you if someone will tell me how many people we are expecting so Hazel and I can work it out.

Edinburgh or Maidenhead? How do you work both those out? It's not like they are close or anything...

This is true, I would never have associated Edinburgh and maidenhead. Although it is more likely than Glasgow ...

You lot had better take care of Pathos, he's a hairy beast delicate flower and will likely get horribly drunk lose his naive innocence if not properly supervised.

I also want to make my jealousy known, still going to be a while before I can afford anything like a plane ticket to the UK. So I guess I'll have to settle for attending in spirit. Or via drunken cellphone call :o
