General King goes straight for the Vig card. I'm a little surprised by that one - you want to save those for later, surely? EDIT: Just realised that is the example order I put in the OP. I note that Kaschan/Bubba has submitted the same. A little disappointed that they haven't at least had a cursory thought about what role they'd like...hopefully that will change once the game get going.

Baudin goes for the Target Finder. I like that pick - the Target Finder is a pretty powerful role. Useful for catching the Apprentices, although there will be plenty of passive roles to give false positives.


I'll be interested to see what the most common strategy people employ here is - I was expecting the Guard card to be the most popular...

Lokiman goes after the Thief - it's a tempting card, that. I guess if he wants to have a go with it before the probability of hitting the Bomber gets a bit high he might as well do it now. Not sure how useful that card is until he's got some idea of the layout of the land and who needs to be neutered at night...

PB here to steward the game for the evening. I love the Consort pick from Ment, VERY strong early game. And I think Lokiman nabbing the thief early is extremely useful, as well, because EARLY game it's a lot harder to hit the bomber (although late game, it may be less likely that someone even takes the bomber).

So I assume the players will get their cards today (Day 1) at some point after all players have finished submitting lists? What happens if the day times out and not everyone has a list in? Players may not be able to submit actions without knowing what cards they are going to have for the night.

This is one of the problems I was anticipating - hopefully people will be prompt about this on the first day. If it seems like people are getting their cards too late, then we'll change the way orders are submitted as follows:

- If you submit a new order in the first 12 hours of the day, it's as before.
- After the first 12 hours of day, if you haven't submitted an order, your last submitted order is taken.

I'm surprised how many people have put Vigilante near the top of the list. Surely no-one thinks its a good idea to use a Vig on Night 1?

Also, it makes sense for the Apprentices to avoid the passive cards for now, but I do hope they consider the value those cards have at some point. Surely, I'd hope they'd think, there must be some restriction on them because of the benefits they bring? I have a sneaky suspicion that while they are both alive, they'll go for a kill every night...which is a bit of a shame. But I guess the killing gets them to the finish line much sooner...

I've updated the NAs...looks like not everyone is going to have time to submit with the current deadlines. I'm going to extend night by 3 hours, since I'm not going to be able to resolve until then anyway. I'll also instate the the aforementioned adjustment to how card lists are dealt with so the game flows a bit faster.
