Well normally I'd say this is a poor idea, but the more I think about it, the more I am thinking it might not be that bad. The only problem we have is, that you are essentially deciding the order of the kills at night as if we out someone via this as innocent, the scum will kill them knowing its not one of the assistants.

It does mean the finders cards are more effective, so I guess we need to try and balance that out.

Balance that against there likely being a healer though. If more than one person is cleared of being an assistant then the master might go for one of them, but if there's only one it's unlikely the master will target him since they're the obvious choice for the healer.

I'm not sure what sort of info is useful. Silchas seemed to have a plan, I think working out the King/Consort I guess and backing that up with the Card Finder. We know there were two kills so unless someone Vigged, we know scum didn't have the King or Consort.

Or the Bomber Card. All three of those have to be used by an apprentice if they are drawn. Both apprentices have to withhold their cards to perform a kill. Ergo, whoever has any of those three cards is not an apprentice, unless there was a vig or one of the two deaths was the thief. I'm still not sure how we can prove anyone had a specific card without the help of the card finder, but day two we should still have enough people around that the lack of a counterclaim is enough to be reasonably sure.

I am thinking the King maybe shouldn't reveal himself though, since he obviously got a useful card this morning and would therefore be an obvious NK choice.

Also, where the hell is everybody?

Im back. I am seriously considering quitting my job and becoming a professional boxer. Not that I would win mny fights, but at least I would get to punch someone in the face and not get fired.

Actually we know that an assisstant didnt get Bomber, king or consort. However The master could still have got any of them, in fact if the master got the consort then they would always know who got the king card and could guarantee going first every time by killing the king (i think thats how it works anyway)

Thats actually a good theory. In fact it would stand to reason that discussing the seating arrangement would help the master make sure that he got the card he wanted. In other words, we discuss who is sitting where, then he has the consort card, kills the king. This is of course if he hasn't yet gotten the consort card. So IMO its better to not discuss seating arrangements.

I suspect that the kills were the scum last night.

Yeah, its hopefulyl safe to assume noone was stupid enough to use a vig however i cant think of anyway for us to know if a thief tried to steal the bomber card or not so we could have had a none scum kill.

Ahh forgot about Bomber, so thats three cards. I don't think it works like that though HP. If the Consort is used don't they find out who currently holds the King? By the time you get that infomation from the cards action at the end of the night, the cards are redealt and the King would have moved on?

Dont take this personally , seriously, this is not an insult - Dont try so hard. Just go with the flow, make a list or two of who you think is suspect, explain why, and learn. Have fun with it. The worst that could happen is you get lynched or NKed. But even then you can still learn and be entertained. At least you'll see who scum is, and think either - HA told you so - or - Damn, I never even saw that guy.

But lets be honest, you arent too hard to alt guess. So enjoy the ride and hope and pray that you dont have withdrawls. Fucking addicts.

Also, if no one told you, we have our own group (rarely used) and we mess around and put up epic rants and stuff, so when the games over (or you are ded) you might want to pm Bubba or Greif and get them to set your account to a mafia addicts anonymous member.

This might not be the most appropriate time to put this out there, but we have a habit of lynching noobs early. You're doing fine, but you look a bit lost at times (voting after day ended day 1) so just some friendly advice.

PS - if this is inappropriate delete this. post it in spoilers or something.

Im not sure, it depends i would assume that the consort finds out quite early where the king is so there'd be enough time for the Master to kill the current owner of the king card and then when the next draw happens there isnt a king around so the consort draws first.

I hadnt considered that the consort wouldnt find out until night ended, im getting a bit confused with when the actions happen as the OP is slightly misleading on a few things.

Well you don't normally get the infomation about what happens until night ends. The order is just normally the order of events being processed during the night.

Anyway I am off to bed back in 8 hours. Before I go, I think we are getting caught up a little in the roles and the cards, we still need to spend the days hunting scum. No one seems to be interested in voting at this point and we need to do something. Theres no strong cases at all, but we aren't going to find anything out if we just wait till night and see what card we get etc. We still need to vote, see how people react, analyze the lynch trains and get infomation.

If we don't put pressure on anyone scum are just going to run away with the win by laying low and not doing anything stupid.

Well my suspicion for one of the scum is Olar Ethil I don't know what it is. Not much of a case I know.

Vote Olar Ethil
