Greetings everybody! I've been reading fantasy my whole life and recently stumbled upon the Malazan series.
I'm a 100 pages into GotM, looks like an excellent series so far, tried to find some maps online and discovered this forum.

Hello. I've been reading the series for 5 years. I found the series through a list of books on Michal A. Stackpole's website, (which I can no longer find). He said something along the lines of: "I highly recommend this book [GotM], I can't believe that your still reading this, you should by of to the nearest bookstore to buy it." Its been about five years so I don't really remember. Currently I'm slowly working through DoD about 150 pages to go. I've been looking through the forum the last couple nights and decided to join.

Signed up a long time ago, but came back recently to wallow in the glory of the series. Really, I'm starving for any excuse to read more about the books and to get other opinions. Really, I think this site is fantastic, thanks to the team for keeping it going.

Never seen an albino Tiste Liosan in the series, or an exploding one, but whatever floats your boat

Hello, everyone. Been a long time poster on SFFworld. Read up to book 5 in the Malazan series and decided to take a break to ease the pressure on my to read pile. However, I am starting to get the itch again and start the series again. So I thought now would be the time to register and join discussions as I pick up the series again real soon. Hey everyone. Just joined on today and have been reading the series for a bit. I'm on the 2nd book and I have come to the conclusion that these books are as slow as a snail on a treadmill. I even have to go backwards sometimes because the thing makes me do a double take.

Anyway. I have not been lurking for long. Just saw the website skimmed over it and decided that I belong here. Hope you guys don't mind me taking up your time.
