I was delighted to find this website. No one else I know has read this series. I am on Toll the Hounds right now - first reading of the series.

Started the series in March 2010 and have nearly finished my re-read before I read TCG. It has pretty much taken over my life and it is really nice to find a common place as an outlet, as none of my friends have the same taste in books! Been lurking on the site for a month or so and thought I would introduce myself!

Newbie, here.
Unfortunately although I have read the first, Gardens of the Moon, and almost all the others, they have not always been in sequence, but because there is a thread throughout, and a number of characters crop up every so often (Kruppe being my favourite followed close behind by Tehol Beddict and his long-suffering "servant"), it easy enough to take up the gist of the story.
A brilliant and fantasmagorical epic, indeedy.

hrmm started my membership a year ago and forgot about it. I have read all the books up until the last one as they were published, sigh has it been ten years... .
But since I read them as they came out I want to read them all again this year before reading the concluding book of the series. Otherwise I wont be able to keep things straight. Favorite book Deadhouse Gates... The Chain of Dogs is an epic piece of writing as is Coltaine.. Just my opinion
Wascally.....

Hello. I am writing this because i wanted to say hello to all you people who help me remember things from a series of books i have been reading since 2003. Right now i am taking a break from TCG and got to this thread by mistakenly pressing a wrong in a thread about drunkenness. Damned Hellian, why are you so cool?

Hey everybody, first post woo! I'm just like three quarters through GOTM but had to share how awesome this book is, can't wait to more on to further books in the series. I love it. I tried to get into GOTM a couple times before but it just didn't work out for some reason or another. After finishing a Clash of Kings I needed something else, I'd had enough of Martin's world, and was determined to get somewhere in GOTM. I am so glad I returned, and that's ugh, my story

What the hell is happening? This is the most confused I've been in some time, I don't get it or understand where on earth one is meant to post or introduce or anything, how to do it or how not to. Can't seem to find any specific information on how to solve this most frustrating problem. Help would be greatly welcome and untold appreciated!

And how do I even know if anyone even bothers to reply to this? Say I log off then come back say, 55 years later how do I know if there even is a reply? Will I be notified?

This is how I imagine dying to be.
Why is this appearing where it does? How do I know if the person I quoted knows or gives a shit?
I'm not a computer amateur or anything but this is some seriously complicated shit!!!
Or maybe I'm just incredibly thick, I just don't know anymore.
Why isn't this explained in the "New members start here part"

Standard forum procedure: you post, you come back to look for a reply. If you don't bother to log on for 55 years you clearly don't want an answer.
Puck, is bored
Puck was not birthed, she was cleaved from a lava flow and shaped by a fierce god's hands. - [worry]

Actually, we do want to hear how Puck should relieve her boredom. In great detail as well, if you please.

Hey, just came upon this site when I was wondering who were people's favourite characters in the Malazan series. This site seems very legit and knowledgable, cant wait to get into some topics.
A little about myself- From Canada, In Military (infantry recon unit, thats why these books appeal to me so much), Enjoy all sports (especially boxing).
- Can read a good book all day or two if need be.
- favourite authors- Erikson, Rothfuss, Gemmell
Read all of the series- Favourite books of series- Memories of Ice, Bone hunters, Toll of Hounds and both of Ian Esselmont novels

Hello..
I have read most of the Malazan books, am currently halfway through Stonewielder. I have some grasp of what is going on, but I am still mystified in places; Hooked though!
I would say that Kruppe is one of my favourite characters...

if you go to the top right corner of the webpage and click on your name a toolbar will come down. click on my content and you could see everywhere you posted. IF there is an opened letter symbol then someone replied, and if it is closed no one replied
