I'm pretty sure the Unbound have been severed from the ritual because the were damaged too greatly, a la Onrack in HoC.

Tavore was supposed to be the most prominent scholar on Kellanved, Dancer and the rest before she became Adjunct... maybe she gleaned a T'lan Imass related secret in her research and discovered how she could summon them based on Kellanved's throne-sitting?
