Man choses wife over 6 foot World of Warcraft Orc Statue. I believe his man-card was just rendered void.

Less = Only irrational 33% of the time.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

*ahem*
WoW sucks
That being said, he made the right call. Besides, you can just go and buy another even greater statue. In time, he may even grow to love it as he did the other. Then, in a few more years, he can look back and contemplate how creepy it was that he almost gave up his marriage to stay with the other great love of his life - a life size orc made of... whatever it's made of.
p.s. The basement thing hurts. 8(

He could also just go and buy another woman, preferable a better-looking one.

You actually still had faith in humanity?
@Leo, you're 16 or something right? When you're that age its cool that you live in the basement, not sad.

I agree. There are certain people who, when in an unfavourable situation, turn the least little thing into an ultimatum. Such people are known as "women". To be fair, there are some things that only women can do...

I'm just wondering how many of you guys who would have chosen the orc, and have so much to say about how terrible we women are, actually have a girlfriend. I'm guessing not many!
If you did have a lady in your life (other than you mom of course) I'd be willing to bet there are a few things you'd be willing to give up if your girl asked you to. It's all about compromise.
I would never make my guy give up something he really loved doing or, put forth an ultimatum. It's not like she said he had to give up WoW. We're talking about a six foot orc here! That doesn't really qualify as appropriate home decor. I know I wouldn't want one in my house. If my partner really wanted it and couldn't bear to part with it, I'd probably let him keep it in the basement or garage, but that's as far as I would go. Actually back that up, I can't see myself being involved with a man who had a six foot orc in the first place! In fact I think that woman deserves some porps for seeing that orc and not running for the hills, let alone agreeing to marry him!

A better looking girl? She's echelons above his level already, look at him
He's a sad and rather chubby middle-aged balding man who owns an Orc statue, ffs.

Ben: Newly 15, actually. I don't live in the basement, I just don't like that stereotype. I doubt many people really believe it to be true, though. I hope many don't.
Yes. Yes, he would.
There's fandom, and there's fanaticism. I'd say that statue alone puts him on the very fine line between the two.

That is a pretty awesome statue. I don't know if I would let my wife make me get rid of something like that. I mean...obviously I'd rather have a wife than an orc statue, but c'mon...a man is allowed to have some manly things around the house. If I was him, I would've tried to compromise with her and see if I could get a den or something that I could keep my "manly" things in haha. That is kind of what happened to this sweet world map I have framed...my wife thinks it's stupid to like maps so much to display one on a wall, so it got banished to my den
.

"Ignoring him, she stepped back out of the ellipse and began singing in the Woman's Language, which was, of course, unintelligible to Iskaral's ears. Just as the Man's Language-which Mongora called gibberish-was beyond her ability to understand. The reason for that, Iskaral Pust knew, was that the Man's Language was gibberish, designed specifically to confound women."
