^^ FWIW, I haven't regretted getting one for a single second. The PS4 has been gathering dust for weeks.

I'm currently switching back and forth between Mario Odyssey and Captain Road. They're phenomenal games.

Depends on whether you plan on buying digital or physical. Big Switch games are around 20-30 GB which will max out your internal storage.

You won't regret it once you get to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Posted Image
I got a 128gb card, too. I figure it's easy enough to archive games I'm not playing and re-download them if I decide I want to. As it goes, I've only bought one digital game so far, which took up the grand total of about 300mb.

I ordered Odyssey the other day. It said it would be delivered on December 11th so I figured order it now and keep it for Christmas. It turned up the next day Posted Image

Must have a look at Captain Toad.

What exactly is Octopath Traveller? An RPG? Bayonetta 2(1) is on Switch! Ugh I’m Staring at Xenoblade X Wii U less!

I have no clue what to buy them.

Several things I ll get myself though lol

Yes, Octopath is like a traditional JRPG, where you play as 8 different characters. It looks lovely but has received fairly mixed reviews. I think it depends on how much you love that genre really.

Itteth mosten certainly isseth. I loveth itteth. Just finisheth Ophilia's thirden chapter.

Seriously, though, it's a brilliant game. You just have to be okay with the fact that there isn't one overarching story but instead there are eight separate stories, one for each character. This seems to be the main sticking point for some reviewers, as the party doesn't have much interaction with each other, but in practice I think it's a great idea. Each of the stories is well written and engaging. Plus the combat system is great.

For the kids I'd go for Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8, Mario Party, one of the new Pokemon games, or Splatoon 2 maybe. And Smash will be out before Christmas.

I've played a lot Mario Odyssey the past few days. It might be the best "video game" video game I've played. It's just pure high polished gameplay. It's pretty much flawless, which is a term I'd never use about a video game normally.

Do you mean the procontroller you buy separately, that looks like a x box controller, or do you mean that thing you slot the detached joycons into?

I play with the pro-controller since I just treat the switch like a stationary console.

I use the pro controller when docked. I actually haven't taken the joy-cons off the Switch since the initial set up, and never used the joy-con grip.

Steam sale is here!

along with a bunch of other sales.

I see myself most likely buying some obscure last-gen hack'n'slashers, because Darksiders left me wanting more, and I've rediscovered that I quite like 3rd person action games as long as there's little to no shooting involved.

I already picked up Konami's poor GoW clone attempt "Blades of Time", and currentyl I'm eyeing Kalypso's games like Venetica and Blood Knights.

I also bought "Rise of the Argonauts" for 2 bucks from GMG purely to be entered in a draw to win a new i7 CPU, because why not?

Picked up a couple of games in the Switch eshop sale (the gb is for BK!):

Dead Cells (561 mb)
Mega Man 11 (2.1 gb)
Battle Chasers: Nightwar (2.6 gb) - already had this on Steam and loved it but, I don't know, there's something about JRPGs with turn-based combat that is just so perfect for handheld mode.

Being tempted by several others on sale, mainly Starlink Deluxe (13.1 gb). Still have 107 gb space on my sd card . . .

Does you phone have an Ethernet port?

What about the charging station? No ports there?
