well it kind of does. not only does it depend on the vipers knowing each other, but if the bride has 2 or more allies, then 3 vipers + bride + assassin + 2or more allies makes a viper minority

Congratulations Kalse, you are just further proving how everyone is missing the point.
I posted a goofy plan. It was never meant to snowball into any form of seriousness.
However, Fener reacted strangely, so I voted for him.
But instead of everyone analyzing why I might vote for Fener, or why Fener said what he did, they are analyzing the plan itself.
The plan that was never meant to be taken seriously.
Therefore, everyone who has tried to sound smart by trashing the plan, is just making an idiot of themselves for missing the point entirely.
I've even backed down from Fener sine then, admitting that he probably just misunderstood what I said. And people are STILL bringing up the plan, as if it has any relation to anything.

Checking in before going to bed.
Where does three come from? Surely there's Bill, Budd, Elle, and Vernita or are they not all vipers?
I think Mockra's point is that it's already been pointed out that his plan was poorly thought out and has lots of holes in it, no need to flog a dead horse.
I agree with Tellan that Fener simply got the wrong end of the stick of Mockra's plan. I don't really agree that Mockra was diverting attention, and it stands to reason that scum would follow on the general point of attack (Mockra's plan being flawed) as it was a safe thing to do and seem to contribute while not rocking the boat.

And before anyone says "But you volunteered to try it out":
Obviously, I can't try out the PLAN by myself. I was merely going to see if a fake reveal resulted in an automatic mod-kill. Because that would be rather interesting.

One thing though Mockra, you jumped from questioning whether any reveal as a viper would result in a day kill to being seemingly quite sure of it which is a little suspicious, and may also account for the confused response from Fener.
Mockra, on 09 December 2009 - 06:17 AM, said:
I wonder if the reveal has to be true to be day vigged by the bride. If I said "I'm Elle" right now, even though that is a false reveal, would I get day vigged anyways?
Mockra, on 09 December 2009 - 07:25 AM, said:
So you're saying ONE OF THE VIPERS is the assassin Fener? Bill for example is gonna turn on his own people?
Because if every non-viper revealed, the bride would kill all of them for revealing ala O-Ren. That would leave only the bride, and the assassin and the vipers left alive, since the assassin wouldn't dare reveal. The remaining vipers would see who is not of their group, and lynch both the assassin and the bride in subsequent nights.
Of course, this would only work if the vipers can communicate, and the bride will kill any old reveal. That's two big "ifs". But you took a different tack on what I meant. Why would the assassin be exempt from my goofy scenario?
Explain.
But for now, that looks like a slip.
Vote Fener

Doing a full reread (or at least attempting one) and this early post by Driss struck me as odd. It was stated clearly in the sign up that there were essentially no unroled players, so pointing out that the Bride needs to kill the "roled innocents" does make it look like he is not on team inno. Even had he not thouroughly read the sign up, reading his own role PM should have clued him in to that if he was inno.
Not voting on this yet, as I still have a ways to go before my reread is done and I would like another look at the Galayn Lord/Tellan interaction I mentioned yesterday.
And, can everyone stop talking about Mockra's plan? Whether it is people telling him it is idiotic or him telling others they are idiotic for still talking about it, the ongoing accusations of idiocy have taken up far too much of the thread IMO. I am unconvinced he is scum for suggesting it nor that Fener is for his comments (or for not actually revealing as the assassin), and so we have much of the days talk centred around things that give little other information.

Wow, I have forgotten so much of what happens in the movies. Thank you wiki!
I doubt the Bride's faction will be larger than three people, since she basically has to kill the 'roled innocents' and the serial killer, not gain numerical advantage. So more likely a small, hard to kill faction.
Got work to do, be on again later.

well after extensive rereading and nodding off a few times, i dont like any of the main candidates so far. fener may be angry and shouty but in this case he was right to be pissed about people putting words in his mouth. words of straw. and i cant see how that makes for a vote-worthy reaction if its justified like that.
The entire Barghast train is based solely on a single post point wherein he came back all righteous and over-reactive after Spite's death-by reveal, which may not be the most open-minded kind of reaction, but it's one post and doesn't paint him as scum solely by that. I need more to go on than that.
The closest thing to a believable case I can see is Tellan, who has alternated from joining into pissing contests to later trying to be the voice of reasoning. Despite the new logical tone of voice, he's still over-exerting himself in trying to push a case on Mockra that amounts to little more than "he made a stupid suggestion". This tunnel-visioned offensive, whilst trying to achieve a more sheep-inducing style of argument, seems to me to be the most likely voice of scum from amongst the current bunch. More likely a supporting scum and not the Bride herself, but it's all I can see at the moment and I'd like to give Tellan more exposure than just that single pseudo-OMGUS vote from Mockra. Therefore,
Vote Tellan
and with that im signing off for the evening as i have plenty of work to do before i hop into bed in a few hours. rest assured i sincerely doubt ill get up in the mid of the night to be on before the deadline. night!

Rereading the Tellan/Gaylord interaction on Day one I have no issues with voting off either of them, or at the very least seeing what comes up with a few votes on one or the other. In fact I still think both are excellent candidates for scum. With that in mind
