Ok The bride faction and the assasin, has anyone got an idea about who the assasin may be?

The only assasin in the Kill Bill series not related to the vipers seem to be Karen Kim. Gods it been years since I've seen the films.

I would think that with The Bride's Victory conditions being a subset of the assassin's victory conditions (sortof), she would be easier to kill, or at least have weaker NAs than the assassin does. The Bride has to kill 6 people to win, whereas the assassin has to kill everyone. Which means the Bride is likely to hit her victory conditions sooner than the assassin. So from that light she's a slightly higher priority, but discussion along these lines is normally moot in any case.
I hope we dont get into a situation where all the Vipers are dead, but the assassin and bride are still alive, since then there's a situation where there's a whole bunch of people playing who have no way to win.

You speak of the impossible young man. The bride will win once her targets are dead, so what difference will it make to the rest of us if she and the assassin are still alive. The assassin must kill the bride before the last of the vipers fall or they too will lose. Clearly the bride is everyone's primary target as her victory conditions are the easiest to attain.
Yo, tone down the condescension, man. You gotta read the rules properly before you go shooting your mouth like that. If you had, you'd have seen that the Assassin is one of the Bride's targets.
I do agree that the Bride is who we've gotta look for first, so you're not all wrong. But chill before you go jumping on people like that dude.
EDIT: Crosspost with Korbas (like the new avi!)
i am chilled and why are you caring about how i talk to someone else? Fact is if the vipers are dead we have already lost, or at least cant win.
@korbas - cry me a river dickbag.

I dislike how people speak of priorities, as if we have the luxury of choice.
After all, finder and CF results excepted, there is no way of knowing the alignment of whomever you target/ lynch.
Moreover, taking out the Assassin before we take out The Bride will from there on roughly halve the chances that a kill targets one of the Vipers, assuming The Bride and Assassin are capable of 1 NK each, thus buying more time for us to also get rid of The Bride.
In the quite frankly unlikely instance where we have the luxury of knowing the identity of both, of course we should lynch The Bride first, but up until then, I wouldn't pass up on the opportunity to get rid of the Assassin as well.
edit: adding the Enters I had there in the first place. The boards upgrade seems to mess with a whole lot of things

so you dislike how we talk about priorities when your happy to discuss how things will be when the assassin is taken out? Why not the bride first? As if anyone is going to go - oh wait we know the assassin lets leave them alone for a while. They are all scum.
vote korbas
i think you are the bride.

ok, my nets were pure crap last night, but now i'm back, ever so briefly
@ Fener: wtf? I thought i've made myself clear
The bride has to kill 5 or 6 ppl to win. the Assassin has to kill everyone.
it's fairly obvious that if we have ANY semblance of bablance, the Assassin will be harder to kill then the Bride.
HOWEVER, once again, from a town's perspective, the Bride is the more immideate threat, since her VCs are more realistic. therefore, she should be killed first, if we have the chance.
as for your "in NZ that means I'm the assasin" post, we;ve seen Day 1 scum "joke-reveals" like that, and i'm uninclined to make it a festering irritant for the whole game of people thinking "and what if it wasn't a dumb joke?"

@Spite
Well, I sort of agree with Korbas that a "priority" is kind of moot since we won't know who is exactly what anyways. I'm not sure I'm reading his post the way you are.

I disagree
The bride is explicitly stated to have "allies"
the Assassin is explicitly stated to be a one-man faction
we KNOW that the Assassin dead is part of the Bride's VC.
therefore, if we have someone we think may be scum, who's not defended by anyone, and someone who may be scum but has 1 or 2 people actively defending them, we go for the one being defended, since they are more likely to be linked to the Bride.

Olar, that post feels more like you're pushing fener forward than his "joke" warrents.

meh, in all likelyhood, Fener's post WAS just a dumb joke.
but that doesn't mean 5 days down the line someone won't raise the "maybe it WAS a Day 1 reveal, gasp"-case on him.
rather than waste time when it matters, i'd prefer to get rid of such potential irritants on the day that's designated for that sort of stuff--i.e., Day 1.
i'm not gonna push the "case", but i'll stay on it till something better comes along.

Ok checking in again im a bit swamped with work at the moment so havent had a chance to do an in depth read yet. The only thing that stood out to me was Olar jumping on Feners joke which seemed a bit bizarre. Other than that it seems to be a lot of talk about whose the biggest threat of the Assassin and the Bride, my two cents on this are that, while the assassin is alive by the Bride cant win so at the moment the biggest threat definitely seems to be the Bride.
Now i have to go do work, hopefully il get a chance to do a proper read later.

Well back and around for a little bit. Unfortunately busy day and haven't had time to contribute.
Looking at whats out there, perhaps I'm getting slow but I can't see that reveal of Fener's that Olar is talking about.
Shadow quoted Fener as saying, "I am the Assassin", and Fener made some sort of joke about someone else using a phrase that means "I am the Assassin" but I didn't see any reveal so Olar has me confused. Or are you reading Shadows quote Olar as Feners reveal?
If I was going to pick anything from it i'd say its a symp move signalling to The Bride, "I know you can kill I'm your symp". But that strikes me as pretty unlikely.
